Hearing the annoying alarm ring on my bed, I had decided to get up to get dressed for school. Pushing the door to the bathroom, I started my morning routine and brush my teeth. I then hopped in the shower and took 20 mins. I needed that seeing that I was stressed out about my labs and exams yesterday. After I was done with my shower, I walked towards my bedroom to get dressed.

I walked over to the fridge and took out orange juice and couple of fruits. I was gonna make a fruit bowl for myself, nothing fancy cause I know my dad was gonna be here soon to pick me up. Bored while eating my grapes, I decided go scroll on TikTok to past time. I then heard a key in the door twisting and turning the keyhole, Me scared asf taking up a knife to protect myself.
"Tali?" he said looking for me.
"Daddy?" I answered back sticking out my head from the kitchen table.
"Hey mama, how are you?" he asked looking quite happier than usual.
"I'm okay, now that you're here" I said smiling back.
"Are you ready to go?" he asked.
"Yea, just lemme grab my book bag and phone from the kitchen counter" I said getting up from the kitchen table.
