They looked perfect together. I looked at my friend, Tara, to see that she was blushing as her date tonight opened the door to his car.
Alex was one of those football jocks, the popular guys of my school, the one that every girl drooled over and me and tara....we were nobody.
It was hard to be a "nobody" in my hometown, its so tiny and everybody knows who you are its just that people preferred to ignore me because they couldn't listen to me chattering but tara is special. She is pretty enough to be a popular girl with her long glossy honey coloured hair and bright blue eyes..yet she choose me.
Being friends with me means she gets the nobody treatment too.Alex and Tara were paired up as lab patners and they kinda liked each other. Everyone in school could see it-well, everyone except for those two. But now thanks to me and my one month plan, I got them together, putting everyone one out of their misery.
After my OTP left..I decided to go home. It was a long and boring walk Without tara. I praised my self the whole way on succeeding in my Alex-Tara project.
I turned away from the main road and walked into a small road leading into the woods. My house was two storeyed and built pretty much in the middle of nowhere. It was creepy and quiet, so that a twig snapping echoed like thunder. Okay so maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but it's really loud even when a twig snaps.
It was a perfect place for my parents to work both of them being doctors mom a psychiatrist and dad a cardiologist. Since my mom died few years back its just me and my old man, and he's pretty much married to his work after my mom died.
I walked slowly and opened the door I was surprised to see my dad sitting on the couch with a cup of coffee in his hand and not in his secret room working on some crazy project or in his cozy out of design office in the hospital.
"Hello blue" my dad said a little too enthusiastically for my liking.
"Hey daddy" I grinned at him and pecked him on his cheek.
"It's sunday night aren't you supposed to be out partying with your friends" ugh! I hated this question.
"Well, my friend is out on a date with my other friend, and two of my other friends are halfway across the world, and another friend of mine has a football match tonight, so I am just gonna go read or watch a movie". Yes, I know, sad but that's the truth. My dad just sighed and shook his head...that was the thing about my dad he respects the decisions I make. Grinning to myself I dashed to my room. I pushed opened the door and I swear I had a heart attack.
"Daaaad" I screamed. My dad took his own time walking slowly with a smirk plarstered on his face..
"Dad I know you did this.. please dad give them back to me..I won't be able to breath untill I have a look at them".My dad groaned "I didn't throw way all your books or your laptop or your dvd's it's that I am not giving it to you now.... half of the books from parchment is in my house and let's not even talk about the dvds. For godsake! You are a teenager, you have to socialize Blue".
"You either go out or go to bed" with that he turned on his heel and left
"Fine, but just so you know, your killing your own daughter" I yelled and slammed the door so hard, the house shook slightly. I made my way to the bed. Every time I looked at my empty book shelf I felt a prickle in my heart. I hope my babies are safe.
After fifteen minutes of discussion with myself I decided to be stubborn. Remember how earlier I said my dad let me make my own decisions? Well, scratch that-my dad is an evil genius who is capable of ruling the world- along with me of course.
I changed into my pj's- and man it was a pitiful sight! I mean, It was eight on a Friday night and I was already going to bed.
"Shut it" I told myself this way dad might feel sorry for me and return my stuff. So I decided to hit the hay. After about 3 minutes- which seemed like hours-of twisting and turning in my bed I finally accepted that my dad was not giving me back my books.
Ugh!! I groaned. I was so bored, I was on the verge of death from boredom, so I poked through my phone,my only companion tonight and then an idea struck me. "Light bulb!"I shouted
I punched a random number and waited for someone to answer. It was one of the oldest tricks in the book.
"Hello" a male voice, the annoyance clear in his tone.I grinned and in a serious voice I replied "Mission accomplished I killed her but where in the world am I supposed hide the body?" I asked.
Without a second of hesitation he replied "meet me in the cemetery at nine.Bring the body" and Bam!-- he hung up.
At first I was shocked-too shocked to do anything but sit on my bed and stare into the darkness, wondering what happened. Then it hit me, my prank backfired, but the outcome was not terrible.I grinned to myself, before throwing the sheets off my bed and changed into a tee, jeans and a hoodie.
I ran down the stairs and out the door. My dad was happy to see me leave
He even waved to me "have fun" he shouted. I couldn't help but laugh. "Happy now?" I shouted. "Ecstatic" he shouted back. Little did he know the mess I got my self into, that I was pretty much digging my own grave by doing this.I mean come on I should've known better than to go to a graveyard to meet a some crazy weirdo that was expecting someone to be murdered. But then again, my friends always said that I was lacking in the 'common sense' department, but what's life without a little risk eh?
The sky was clear..cloudless the moon was full and it was bursting with a silvery light . the cementry was equally creepy as my house. It was a long plot of land that streched forever. The tombstones were bathed in orbs of silver, creating a dark shadow on the ground. The air smelt sweet of earth and a faint smell of roses, laid on the tombs, fresh in the evening.
The ground was smooth with fresh cut grass. And somewhere in the middle a gigantic oak tree grew with thick branches and the huge leaves covered every inch of the tree.
A perfect hiding spot! I could keep an eye on the gate, so I slowly creeped into the grave yard and hid behind the oak tree. There was not a soul to be seen dead or alive. Silence filled the air.
I crouched there, for about fifty minutes. And somewhere in between I had started singing random songs, under my breath. By the time I heard the sound of an engine cutting off, I was playing air guitar for the dead, singing ice nine kills songs.
"Goodnight everybody. Thank you for making such a dead awesome audience, no pun intended, um... rest in piece!" I whisper-yelled and crouched behind the oak tree again.
I managed to crouch behind the oak tree before I heard the gate creak open and a tall hooded figure enter the cemetery. And that's how the mess got messier

A.N: sup cupcakes! I'm sorry if you didn't like this chapter- sorry you don't recognise awesomeness! I mean I know this chapter is awesome because someone very special to me helped me write it and believe me that person is an idiot, but that's why I love'em and I'm going out of the topic. So anyway, if you wanna know what happens after this, well keep reading. And... what's that thing the other author's always say? Comment, something blah blah blah. I'll look it up in the next chapter and let you know! Peace out, pegasi of the underworld
