"So you drove from Chicago to get here?" the tall dark-skinned man says as he helps Diamond fix up the small dingus room by hanging one of the paintings she had boxed away in the bottom of the big brown box "Yeah it was kinda long but I got here really late so I stopped by this vegan restaurant not so far from here"

The man nodded seeming to understand what Diamond was truly talking about he finished hanging the wall decor up as the sun was now going down creating sun shadows stemming through the small window by her twin-size bed.

Diamond flopped onto her bed as she finally finished putting her small room together with the help of her new friend or associate whose name is Dexter.

"Well ya room looks nice looks just like a true dancer at heart," Diamond sits up while Dexter grabs the empty boxes ready to throw them away "Hey you wanna come stairs we are probably about to argue about what we're gonna eat"

Diamond looked out the window then back at him she felt nervous around people she didn't know resulting in her just being quiet and making everything awkward but that didn't mean she couldn't try right? "Sure just give me a second"

"Alright don't take too long" Diamond just gives him a quick nod before he shuts her door making her get up walking to her small walk-in closet.

Scooping down to a small box she ran her hands through the box flipping through pictures of her young mother when she first arrived at the same academy she was in, nun of them had her father in them which she didn't care About anyway she picked up the box and sit it on the wooden desk.

Picking out a few pictures to go on the small desk she smiles to herself looking at her mother who looks exactly like her you would think that was her smiling in the picture with her beautiful smile holding onto a small child while they both smiled at the camera.

She put some pictures of her mother and her up on the desk with a small smile on her face as a tear left her eye but she quickly wiped it away stopping herself before any more hard tears swam down her face she then turned around walking out her room down the stairs and into a Heard of noise as the small group excitedly played uno sitting on the floor cards on the table.

"Uno, uno!"Dexter yells as he no longer has any more cards left Diamond giggles as she walks over to the fridge in the kitchen going to fix herself a glass of water "You lying bro I bet you got four cards up ya ass now!" some light skin girl yells at dexter making everyone laugh including diamond.

Opening the fridge it seemed to be full of bottles of smoothies and water bottles she closed the fridge not getting a water bottle since her roommate probably didn't want her touching her stuff and it was just felt disrespectful drinking something that didn't belong to her, opening the cabinet door looking for any glass or plastic cups her eyes scanned over an empty cabinet there were no glassed cup plastic cups or even any bowls or anything of that matter.
