New Kid Blows Up The Bathroom

Taking care of a coma patient was not on Ivy Monroe's bucket list.

Chiron had assigned both Annabeth and Ivy to watch and take care of Percy, and this was probably the worst job she's ever had, Annabeth was constantly leaving to do something else leaving the redhead alone with the sleeping boy.

"He drools way too much." Ivy pointed out to Annabeth who was sitting on the other side of Percy's bed. "It can't be healthy."

Annabeth shrugged, "At least I'm not the one whipping it off his chin."

"Yeah, I'm the one doing everything," Ivy replied giving her sister an annoyed look.

"Do you think he's the one?" Annabeth asked crossing her arms. "Grover said he defeated the Minotaur by himself."

"I wouldn't get your hopes up Annie." Ivy told her, over the years Annabeth assumes any new person would be the one to finally get them out of camp and on some life alterning quest but it never happens. Over time Ivy started to lose hope, Annabeth on the other hand seems more determanted to go on a quest than ever. Ivy couldn't blame her they both have been at camp ceice the were 7, Ivy met Annabeth while going to camp with Luke and Thalia. While on the road the four became like family, until they had lost Thalia, now it was just the three of them.

After a moment of silence Percy suddenly woke up dazed and confused, "Where am I?" But before either girl could respond he passed back out. The two girls looked at each other and both silently agreed to get Chiron.

The next day Ivy found out that Percy had officially woken up and he's staying in the Hermes cabin along with the other uncliamed kid. Ivy always felt bad for the unclaimed kids, when she first arrived at camp it took Athena 5 months to claim her, even though she had claimed Annabeth before her. There was no denying that Annabeth is Athena's favorite and Ivy couldn't help but be a little jealous but she knew it wasn't Annabeths fault. She couldn't comprehend how she was literally born from her mother's thoughts but her mother wants nothing to do with her. It always amazed Ivy how some godly parents don't want anything to do with their children yet they keep having them.

As Ivy stood with Annabeth as the watched the other campers sword fighting, the two sisters were in charge of helping campers with their techniques. Ivy hated teaching the campers, she would much rather be the one fighting- or doing something completely different.

Not paying attention to the campers that were swinging their swords around Ivy just started looking around the camp to find some kind of entertainment, she quickly noticed Luke.

Luke was like an older brother to Ivy, the two had meant when they were in they way to camp. Luke and Thalia found Ivy when she was wondering around her old run down apartment complex. The two older kids found her walking around aimlessly due to the fact that her father had left without saying anything leaving their small apartment locked. Once they had figured out she was a demigod and wouldn't slow them down they allowed her to join them, and soon after that they met Annabeth.

She noticed Luke showing Percy around and as she was watching the two she saw Percy look her way. The two kids locked eyes for a couple seconds and quickly looked away at the exact same time. All of Ivy's attention suddenly on the campers.

Ivy was later informed by Luke that him and Percy were trying different things around camp in order to find his godly parents.  To keep a long story short nothing worked and Percy managed to start a small fire while trying.

It was now night time and Ivy was walking around camp when suddenly she saw Clarisse and a few of her friends storm out of the bathroom pissed off and soaking wet? Out of curiosity Ivy slowly approached the bathroom not wanting to end up drenched like Clarisse, as she slowly walked in she saw the bathroom completely destroyed and the whole place completely soaked however the only thing that remained dry was a confused Percy Jackson wondering around the bathroom. Leaving Ivy confused on how he managed to stay so dry, she soon began to wonder if it had anything to do with his godly parent.

Ivy was leaning against the doorframe eyebrows raised in confusion when the blonde boy finally saw her.  "I can explain." He told her trying to act innocent.

"Can you?" Ivy asked raising an eyebrow and crossing her arms at the boy.

"No." He mumbled slightly looking down.  After a moment of silence Percy spoke again "I know you- you were there that night in the infirmary?"

"Yeah, I'm Ivy. You drool in your sleep you know? It's really gross." Ivy told him randomly.

"What are you stalking me or something?" Percy asked looking a little offended.

"Not exactly-"

"Okay...?" He said looking even more confused.

"My sister and I think you can help us." Ivy explained like it was the most obvious thing ever.

"Help with what exactly?" Percy asked tilting his head in confusion. He kind of reminded Ivy of a lost and confused puppy.

"Win capture the flag." The read head told him with a small smile. She knew that Percy could help them win after the earlier events of the bathroom. Even if Percy couldn't explain why he managed to blow up the bathroom leaving everything and everyone soaked but him, Ivy definitely had a theory and if she could pull the right strings tomorrow during capture the flag she could prove that theory right.

A/N: I literally rewrote this chapter 3 times and I still don't like how this turned out. I also wrote this chapter off memory, i usually have the episodes playing while I write to make sure everything is accurate so ignore if it's off from the show. Anyways I can't wait to write the rest of this book and capture the flag is the next chapter.
