Seungcheol hesitantly walked towards the park near his apartment complex as his thoughts were consuming him
What if he didn't mean to text me? What if it was meant for someone else? How the fuck did he even get my number?
These thoughts were in Seungcheol's head as he wasn't watching where he was going and tripped on a stone. He groaned in pain as he rubbed his knee
"Oh my god are you okay?!"
Seungcheol whipped his head up to see a worried Joshua rushing over to him
"M-Me? Oh yeah- uhh- I am fine- ouch!"
Seungcheol exclaimed as he fell back down and gripped on his knee
"That fall seemed to hurt. And where were you so lost in dude?- You need to focus where you are going and not be in your head all the time. Otherwise how will you explain to Jeonghan?"
Joshua asked as Seungcheol looked at him with wide eyes
"W-What?- He told you?-"
"I made him tell me asparagus. And I feel like it's not your fault. He didn't give you the chance to explain which he should have so you have to explain to him someday and I will make sure that he will listen to you."
Joshua stated as Seungcheol sighed deeply and smiled gratefully at him
"Thank you very much Josh."
Seungcheol stated with a smile as Joshua helped him stand up and helped him walk to the park
"So... Do you have a crush on someone?"
Seungcheol asked as Joshua choked on the air but calmed down quickly and nodded a bit
"Awww your ears are red! You must really like them!~"
Seungcheol teased as Joshua just looked down with a small smile
"I don't like him asparagus. I love him so damn much but please don't tell Han yet okay? He will tell the others about it."
Joshua stated as Seungcheol chuckled and nodded with a smile. They stepped in the park to see Jeonghan sitting on one of the swings alone. He looked sad, making both Joshua and Seungcheol sad too
"Han? Hey what happened?"
Joshua asked once they neared him as Jeonghan sighed and shook his head
"That's for later. First we need to think about how to help Soonyoung and Wonwoo."
Jeonghan stated as Seungcheol sat on the swing on Jeonghan's left while Joshua sat on the swing on Jeonghan's right. They all sat in silence to think about something
"What if we try to make Wonwoo be warm to us?" - Joshua
"He only warms up to Chan, Jungkook and Samuel."
Both answered at the same time as Joshua looked at the two with a smug grin which was returned with scary glares
"Alright alright chill. What if we try to get Woozi to talk to Wonwoo?"
Joshua asked as their glares intensified even more. Joshua decided to shut up and think about something as the light bulb in his head lit up
"What if-"
"Nah Joshuji no more from you."
Jeonghan stated with an angry pout as Joshua mirrored it back
"Hey! You didn't even hear me out!"
Joshua exclaimed a bit as Seungcheol sighed a bit
"Both of you relax. And go ahead with your idea."
Seungcheol stated while gesturing to Joshua, who smiled widely and nodded
"So as I was saying. What if we let your group of friends and our group of friends interact? I mean Hao and Seok are already good friends of Mingyu while I am a good friend of Vernon-"
"When did you?!"
Jeonghan exclaimed as Joshua sighed deeply and before Jeonghan started lecturing him, he spoke once again
"We both are Americans dude. How won't I get interested to know him? He is cool and actually fun to be around. I don't know why Kwan even dislikes him."
Joshua explained as Seungcheol sighed a bit knowing that it was time for the backstory
"I know what brought this barrier between Hansol and Seungkwan. But please don't try to be obvious with it because both of them will kill me."
Seungcheol requested as the two best friends nodded and continued listening
"So you remember when we had that 'be mean to others for the entire school hour' day?"
Seungcheol asked as both of them remembered how terrible that day was
"Yeah. Jun and Hao were talking in Chinese the whole day and the Chinese students would giggle whenever they heard the two talking. I wonder what that was about."
Jeonghan stated as Joshua recalled a funny moment and started laughing out loud
"Do you two remember when Soonyoung and Chan argued about being a tiger and a dinosaur in the middle of the hallway?"
Joshua asked as Seungcheol burst out laughing at that memory followed by Jeonghan
"They both were so serious about it."
Jeonghan stated as Seungcheol recovered from his laughing fit and cleared his throat, making the other two stop laughing and divert their attention back to Seungcheol
"There were many funny incidents like Wonwoo calling Mr. Oh a toxic gas chamber because of not only how rudely he speaks to students in class but also because of how much he farts making the class stink. Or when Jihoon and Minghao told Soonyoung that he is a human and not a tiger, making Soonyoung sad."
Seungcheol stated with a sad smile as the two were now curious and eager to know what really happened between Seungkwan and Vernon
"Hansol decided to compliment everyone with his straight face so basically everyone was confused if he was mocking them or complimenting them. Seungkwan wanted him to stop messing around and approached him. But Hansol told him that Seungkwan had chubby cheeks which made Seungkwan cry and yell many bad things at Hansol out of anger. Hansol was deeply hurt by the words Seungkwan said that he even came crying to my place at 12 in the morning."
Seungcheol explained as Jeonghan and Joshua gasped in shock. Jeonghan realized that he was very wrong for misjudging Vernon as someone who doesn't think before speaking
"Oh my god I-"
"Misjudged him? That's nothing new Jeonghan."
Seungcheol stated as Jeonghan felt a pang on his chest
Why?... Why the fuck does it hurt when you call me by my name and not those cheesy nicknames?
Jeonghan thought as they all looked up at the sky and stayed in silence for a while
"Weren't you supposed to meet up with Dk?"
Jeonghan asked as Joshua laughed a bit and looked over at his best friend
"He said he will ditch Mingyu, Hao and Jungkook for that games night they have tonight to meet up with me here. Oh there he is!"
Joshua exclaimed happily he got up from his swing to see Seokmin running up to them
"Hyung! You should get going quick! Hao is about to strangle Gyu and Kook is just laughing about it and doing nothing! I tried to stop but Hao has completely lost it. Wonwoo hyung said he is tired of dealing with us and went back to his room when I called for his help."
Seokmin rambled as it took a minute for Seungcheol to process it before he got up and ran off back to his apartment, leaving Seokmin, Joshua and Jeonghan there
