chapter 1 : three old ladies ,a blue sock and achilles freaks out

My name is Percy Jackson and I'm seven years old.curemtly I along with my big brother Achilles, Luke , cousin thalia ,the new girl annabeth and some curly haired kid he picked up are on our way to a place called camp half god or something like that ,I don't know. We have been walk -read running - for hours now and my legs are tired .
Achilles offered to carry me on his back ,but I denied it of course,since im a big boy and not a baby i can walk by myself.but now im starting to regret it .
As we walk, luke notices that the sun is starting to set and the sky is turning a deep shade of orange and pink. I could see the trees getting denser and the underbrush becoming thicker .I could hear the sound of a nearby river, and i started to feel thirsty. Annabeth suggests that we all take a break and rest for a bit,cuz she was getting tired too. Apparently chill'es offered to give her a piggy back ride too but she also didn't want to be picked up like a baby, " im seven not a baby " she said annoyed and achilles just smiled at her and let her walk. Maybe a can ask for that piggy back ride after we drink something and rest for a bit ,but only cuz my legs are tired
As we walk, i noticed that the sun was starting to set and the sky was turning a deep shade of orange-pink. After we rested for a bit we stared walking again. I asked achilles if I could still climb on his back,he smiled a me his sea green eyes crinkle with fondness as he lowers himself onto his knees.I smile hat him and climb onto is back holding onto his neck as he stands up . Faintly I hear annabeth huff as she stomps her way to my brother and I .pouting with her arms crossed over her chest she looks up at achilles ." No fair "she says pouting " I want a piggy back ride now too" she glares at me ,so natural I do the mature thing and stick out my tongue at her. She huffs again and achilles smiles and laughs but he still goes readjusts me so now im siting around his neck and picked her up and places her on his hip .after an hour or two i hear a low growling noise coming from the trees ahead. I look past the trees to see a pack of hellhounds , the huge black dog with red eyes, emerge from the shadows. They snarl and bare their sharp teeth as they approach us. Achilles quickly puts me and annabeth down and give us to Thalia and Luke ,he the goes ahead of us ,standing tall and ready to fight, his muscles tense and his fists clenched.
The hounds continue to growl and snap at us, but Achilles moves with such speed and agility that they seem to be unable to keep up. He slashes at them with his sword, and they retreat back into the shadows. Annabeth and Grover look at each other in amazement, and I can see the fear in their eyes.luke have a look of awe and a weird glint that i don't know in his eyes and thalia is cheering for him with a proud, excited and awed look.
As the hounds retreat, Achilles turns to us and says, "We need to keep moving. We don't know how many more of those creatures are out there." Luke nods in agreement, and we all continue on our way, keeping a watchful eye on the shadows.
As we walk, I can feel my heart pounding in my chest and my breath coming in short gasps. The adrenaline is still coursing through my veins, and I can't help but wonder what other dangers we might encounter. As we move deeper into the woods, I start to notice that the trees are becoming more spaced out and the underbrush is thinner.
I see something weird and out of place from the corner of my eye and run of to get a closer look .I thought I heard achilles calling after me and telling the others to stay put as he runs after me,but im to far ahead so I'm not to sure. I finally arrive and..... it's a fruit stand???? Your probably wondering ,What's a fruit stand ding out here in the woods out in the middle of know where ?? Or Percy why are you walking towards the fruit stand? I know ,I know it's stupid but it felt like something was pulling me to it. When I got close enough I saw 3 old lady's knitting the worlds biggest sock ,like it could for real fit big foot or the sasquatch, maybe even godzilla.tho weirdly they were looking straight at me,the lady in the middle held a gold and silver pare of shears to the bright blue  thread .some one grabbed my shoulder. It was achilles,I looked up at him but he wasn't looking at me no. He was staring at the old lady in the middle ,he was also holding his breath ,his face was pail and he was shaking slightly.i tired back to the sock just in time to see and hear the old lady cut the blue thread.i swear the sound echoed through the whole forest,it must have snapped Achilles out of his panic attack cuz the next thing I knew was that he had picked me up bridal style and sprinted away from the fruit stand.
When we got back to the other achilles put me down and he looked at me with such a feral look that a actually flinched and backed away from him ,untill I saw him wince and apologize then i felt extremely guilty ,this was my big brother who mades me blue cookies and sings me to sleep when im upset ,he would never hurt me . Annabeth and Thalia were laughing and chiding him for being so silly, but I couldn't help but be grateful for his quick thinking and quick action. As we ran, I looked back at the fruit stand and wondered about the blue thread what did it mean?? Why did chill'es freak out so bad ??? I didn't know but what I did know was that those old lady's had to be important some how and so did the blue thread .
As we continued on our way, I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was going to happen, and I was glad that Achilles was there by my side to keep me safe. The forest was getting thicker and more crowded, and the hounds were getting louder.
We were running out of time ,but there I saw it a pick your own strawberries sign on the Fence.
As we ran, I heard a loud roar in the distance and saw a group of hounds chasing after something. Achilles pulled me close ,picking me up holding me to his chest and whispered, "That's it. We need to loss them,just a little more only a nother kilometre or two ." We sprinted towards the sound, and as we got closer, I saw that it was a group of Cyclops.
We had run into them before,annabeth was terrified of them and I couldn't help but agree . achilles held me tighter ,it was comforting.
As the Cyclops closed in on us, I saw that they were carrying massive clubs in their arms. Achilles drew his sword and charged forward, wielding it with deadly precision. The Cyclops tried to dodge, but Achilles was too fast. He swung his sword, hitting them in the legs and sending them falling to the ground where he finished them off stabbing them and turning them to golden dust .
I watched in awe as Achilles fought, his Left arm still tightly holding me to his chest. I had never seen him so focused and in tune with his surroundings. As he stood victorious over the fallen Cyclops, I felt a weight lifted off my shoulders. We were alive and kicking, and that was all that mattered.
Achilles looked at me with a small smile and golden dust all over his face, as if he knew that I was okay. He carried me back to the others, and I thanked him for saving me. He smiled and said, "Of course, my little perl. You are my baby brother ,I won't let anything harm you while I'm still alive and able." I smiled back at him, feeling grateful for his protection and love.
As we walked, we caught up with the rest of the group, and I was glad to be back with them. They all hugged Achilles , annabeth even cried cuz she thought he was dead .
As we continued on our journey, I couldn't help but wonder what other dangers lay ahead. The forest was getting thinner the monsters where getting closer , and I knew that we couldn't keep running forever.
Achilles led the way, his eyes scanning the surrounding area for any signs of danger. As we got closer to our destination, we saw a clearing in the distance. It was a big hill. Achilles turned to the group and said........
