My mom said its apartment but it was a freaking penthouse looking out at the Hollywood...my jaw dropped down to the floor

I went to my mom hugged her thanking her for this amazing life she's providing me and im also going to start my university here yea im 20 and going to uni

There were four room and three bathroom and i took the bedroom that has a best view and my mom ofc took the bedroom that has Hollywood view

I got ready for the dinner and showed my dress to my mom..." Hye mom , how is it ?" I spined around showing her my dress " oh bella, u look good as always honey...wait for me at couch I'll be right there "

I walked out the room going to the living room and turned on smtg to watch to pass my time...soon my mom came out looking beautiful" mom you looking gorgeous " i complimented her

she smiled at my compliment and kissed my forehead thanking me

We took cab and went to the restaurant that has our reservation...the place looked good and i almost forgot that the waiter was waiting to take our order...we ordered our and it arrived pretty fast and i actually thought it wouldn't taste good cuz it arrived fast lol but it was delicious

We then went back to home and got dressed in a cosy PJs...my mom told me to sleep early cuz she has to go work tmr and she wanted me to follow her then we could go to my uni for the admission

But as always i slept late and struggled to wake in the morning at 7AM...i got dressed in formal dress

I wore smtg like this matching my mom as wears this

Later then...

We arrived at the building by our own personal driver...the building was huge and luxurious

We both straight head to the department that she was gonna take care of and as soon as we entered all eyes were on us and my mom got her own assistant told to gather all of them at the meeting room

While i was walking behind my mom , looking around the place amazed i felt eyes on me and i turned around to be met with an tall , handsome , well-dressed , also like a mafia vibes guy staring at me...i made a eye contact him and smiled politely to not to look rude or anything

He looked like he was around 26 or smtg just below 30 but not too younger than me...ngl he looked hot tho and his smile was somewhat heart-warming

I lose track of my mom while looking at him and i stopped mid-way to look around trying to find any sight of my mom or her assistant but nope nothing... suddenly i heard a deep yet soft voice behind me it sent me shivers down to my core

" I see you got lost, need help? "

I turned around to see the guy who i made eye contact with 2 minutes ago , he looked even more hot close up, he smelled addictive

I shyly smiled , " uh yea i think so, i lost track of m-my mom and her uh-assistant " why tf am i stuttering i scolded myself in my head

He laughed cutely actually " come , im going to the meeting room too "

His voice was deep yet soft, he looked somewhat sus yet charming...his vibes was screaming danger just like the mafia but yet sweet

I followed him without a word and thanked him quietly when I reached the meeting room...he just nodded and when to sit down on one of the chair

My mom introduced herself and talked abt how she was gonna take care of this department blah ii bunch of work stuff then called out to me

I didn't realise her calling me until everyone turned around to look at me i was busy staring at the unknown guy from my moms workplace lol

" Uh- yes m-mom? " I stuttered stealing a glance at him and seeing him smirk like he noticed me staring at him

" Come here darling, I wanna introduce you to them just in case uk " she smiled sweetly at me

I smiled back at her standing beside her fidgeting my finger feeling HIS stare burning thru my outfits...gosshh what is he doing to me?!

" So guys , this is issabella my one and only daughter who might or might not take over this job of mine, bella say hi to my new colleagues"

" Uh hello everyone, im issabella" i smiled awkwardly

Everyone clapped and smiled at me except HIM , he was literally smirking at me or maybe im being delusional?

" She's a bit shy " my mom laughed as i walk to stood at the corner

After a few minutes of more talking abt works, my mom dismissed them and i excused myself to go the washroom knowing damn well that i have no idea where it was...
