"Where are we going?" I asked when we pulled up to the airport.

"New York City, but me and Marcel can't come. Just Kol is going, this is where we depart Jadelynn Roe." Davina stated in a sad voice. DD only called me Jadelynn Roe when she was very serious.

Did I ever mention how my magic three were the ones that named me? My parents wouldn't even look in my direction when I was born so Davina, Kol, and Marcel took it upon themselves.

As we boarded the plane it was...new. I had never left the quarter let alone the state! It was a private plane so I assumed the vampires of our group did some compelling. I was very nervous when we were about to lift off and the lights started to flicker meaning my magic was going haywire. Kol ran over to me and we did my anxiety exercises, "Okay, hey, it's okay, you know what to do, what is one thing you can hear?" He asked I responded.

"Plane engine."

"Okay, one thing you can smell?"

"Cheap tequila."
"You're doing great, what can you taste?"

"Bile in the back of my throat."

"Don't focus on that and what can you feel?"

"Electricity and shaking" I responded shakily

"Hey it's okay, we are right here alright? Now I need you to open your eyes and tell me what you see." He responded hearing my panic worsen.

Slowly I opened my eyes and whispered, barely audible, "freedom." I launched forward and bear-hugged Kol "I'm gonna miss you so much!" she said into her uncles ear.

I hardly remember the ride just remember falling asleep and waking up with no one there. Fire surrounded me and I felt the odd sensation of blood trickling down my forehead. Before I could comprehend anything else, a black bag was put over my head and I was consumed by darkness once again.

I was out on the town with my daughter Hope. I had left the little scum at home. She doesn't deserve as much considering she is human, and my princess is just so powerful, how could you not hate Jadelynn? We were walking around when all of a sudden Hope turned around.

"Why isn't Jadelynn her it's her birthday too?" she asked and I felt although Jadelynn was manipulating her, why would Hope want to play with such dirt?

"She doesn't deserve this as much you sweetie," I said trying to put it in simple terms.

"But I want her here!" Hope yelled with tears brimming her eyes. I looked at Elijah and he understood the assignment.

"Okay Hope I'll go get her and you just stay here, we wouldn't want to make you cry now would we," he said with softness in his voice

He vamp sped away and I was fully expecting that when he came back he would be annoyed with a weak little Jadelynn in his arms. What I wasn't expecting was the worried look in his eyes and no Jadelynn.

"Now dear brother, I will ask this once and once only, where is Jadelynn?" he asked in a calm tone.

"She wasn't there all her stuff was packed. Kol, Davina, and Marcel are gone too. The only thing I found were these letters and blood on the floor." I thought for a moment anger and fury pulsing through me. "Get everyone and bring them to the compound. Tell Freya to prep for a locator spell." I said and grabbed Hope.

"Daddy, what's going on?" Hope said with worry, "Nothing little wolf just hang on tight okay?" "Okay Daddy," and he was off.

When they got to the compound he went to Jadelynns bedroom. It was about the size of Hope's closet but she was fortunate to have a room so I didn't care much. We all managed to cram ourselves into the small bedroom.

"Each of us has a letter to read with our names on it." Elijah announced, "Well then I suggest you hand them out, dear brother." He handed them out and then said "How about we read them out loud." "Well, I suppose I should go first," Rebekah said.

"Dear, Aunt Bex
I was never allowed to call you that growing up. You always said that I was too weird, too cowardly, too human. I just wanted an aunt but you already had a niece, and I suppose it's my fault for not seeing that, isn't it? Growing up I had always seen you with Hope, picking out outfits, going shopping, or just a girl's night out. I made the mistake of thinking you would want that with me. I still remember the first time I asked to tag along. You were on your way out with Hailey and Hope, just like every Saturday afternoon and I asked a simple question "Can I come?"

You laughed and told the others to wait outside while you 'talked' to me. The first thing you said to 4-year-old me was "Now why would you, a fat worthless ugly cow think she deserved anything more than the torture chamber?" You continued laughing and then, you did it, you were the first one to hit me. Not with vampire strength but enough to make me fall. I was four years old and you hit me. I wanted a relationship with you and paid the price I'm never coming back after you scarred me and ruined my childhood. You said you wanted children but you would be a terrible mother. You could've had a daughter in me but instead wallowed in self-pity until you couldn't see clearly. I will personally make sure you never touch a child other than hope again."

As she finished she had tears in her eyes. But by far the worst thing all of us were looking at was the tears and look of betrayal on Hope's face. "Y-you hit h-her?" she asked in a small voice she looked up at all of us "DID YOU ALL HIT HER?" none of us could look her in the face feeling the weight of what we had done, and we all nodded. She looked at us astonished "I don't have a sister anymore because you were all too power-hungry?" she stated as a question but we knew she didn't want an answer. "Okay, I want to know what else she had to say. Continue reading." she had an unsettling calmness right now that mirrored mine. "I'll go," Elijah stated thinking his wouldn't be that bad.
