Unlocking Vault of the Spring Maiden

Za'im P.O.V

These two have the power of the Maiden. Such power not only can be destructive, but also can unlock the vault that leads to the relics of the Brother Gods sealed by Ozpin himself.

Ozpin thoughts he had hidden the relics from the prying eyes saved to his trusted allies. But, even he did not know those allies backstabbed him either out of greed or fear, the latter is usually after they found out about Salem, the cursed lady from the past.

The women that I already defeated, lies next to each other remained unconscious. One is the bandit leader, other is Salem's little apprentice.

It is time for the extract their maiden power.
After all, I bested them in combat. Their power will be my rewards. That is the price you pay for getting in my way.

I took out my phone from my dimensional storage by my will. The bright light emerged and the phone appears on my hand

Za'im: "Phone, can you extract the power of the Maiden from these two ?"

Phone: "The phone can extract the power. However, the magical power is connected to their souls. They will die after the extraction process."

Za'im: "I want their power without them dying, is it possible for you to do so ?"

Phone: "The phone capable of taking out their power without dying. However, the time taken for the process to be completed will be longer."

Za'im: "For how long should I have to wait ?"

Phone: "It is estimated to be 30 minutes or longer, depending on the condition of the host of the Maiden."

Half an hour or more !? Depends on their state !? I have to wait around one hour !? Mistral army and Faunus people could be swarming the entire academy by now ! That is not even involved if one of the Ruby's gang have woken up from their state !

Za'im: "Phone, can the process get any faster ?"

Phone: "The extraction process requires divine surgical operation to uproot the power from their souls. Any interference will guaranteed fatal to the host of the Maiden's power."

I sighed at the explaination. There is nothing else I can do to other than to wait for the operation to be finalized.

The phone taking off from my hand and hover over Cinder. The phone's screen emitted bluish bright light. Cinder's body glowed bluish and the orange-like coloured energy coming out of her body.

I am worried about those two if they wake up  and saw these highly sensitive secrets. I had to make sure they stayed in their slumber.

If I wanted to, I would have extracted their power without a care and let them die from the excruciating painful process. But, I spared them for now. I am curious about what Salem would react if her little protege's power was stolen. It is going to be quite a show to watch. I might get some food to watch the drama from Salem's domain.

As for Raven ? Maybe I should pay a visit to her tribe. This time, I might wipe them out for interfering with my work.

Anyway, I created a lock from the floor around every part of their bodies. Their hands, legs, necks and bodies are covered with elemental locks made from the ground they laid on, making sure they will not get up.

I negated their power to ensure that the power extraction continued without hassle.

All I had to do right now is to wait. If Anyone comes here, they will be dealt with lethal force.

Third P.O.V

Outside of Haven Academy

The White Fang was already finished their setup of explosives around the building. They are ready to be detonated on the order of their new leader, Adam Taurus.
