Isabel Fuentes is 18 years old, standing at 5'1, with naturally tanned skin, long brown curly hair, beautiful light brown eyes, long lashes, great proportions in the necessary areas, and a curvy body, etc. She was incredibly famous in Puerto Rico since she was the little sister of Daniel Fuentes, a 19-year-old who dominated the basketball world on the island. As a kid, Isabel looked up to Daniel and got invested in basketball because of him. She loved the sport, and the adrenaline, and even played for a few years. Just like her brother, she dominated the sport and even excelled him. However, during one of her games, right as she jumped to make a dunk, even though the ball went in, she miscalculated, causing her to have a nasty fall and not be able to play permanently. That didn't mean she couldn't play with her brother or friends, but she couldn't go professional or be a part of a basketball team ever again. And just like that, Isabel lost her spark, charm, and love for the one thing she loved the most... basketball. She always attends her brother's games and is always watching the NBA, but it will never be the same.
Since Isabel couldn't do the one thing she loved, she started searching for other careers, ultimately deciding she wanted to be a doctor. Mainly to help other kids who may potentially go through the same thing and hopefully save them from her horrible fate. She wanted to study Chemistry and take a few other courses, but her main focus was that course. So one day, on a Friday night after she had decided what she wanted to do with her life, she went to her parents' room to tell them the big news. She was going to knock on the door, but when she heard her mom saying, "Congratulations baby, I knew you could do it!" and then hearing her brother say, "Thanks Mom, love ya," she knew there was no need to knock and strolled in. Her mom's face went pale, and so did her dad's and brother's, and that's when she knew something was going on.
"What are you all so happy about?" Isabel asked, not pleased that they were keeping something big from her.
"Um well, you might want to sit down, sis," Daniel, her brother, says. Isabel sits on her mom's bed, meanwhile, her mom, dad, and brother are all standing near her, preparing themselves for what is to come.
"Well, basically I-" Daniel gets cut off by his mom when she says.
"We are moving, Isabel, to the USA, all of us. Daniel and you have both been accepted to Sunny Rots Elite Private University. It is based on sports, but they have good programs all around for everything except acting and singing." She says so calmly but with an icy glare, telling Isabel everything she needs to know. This whole moving thing was happening like it or not, but she still wanted to feel like she tried to stop them even if she knew it would be in vain...
"We are what!? No, no, and no. There is no way I'm leaving the Island just so Daniel can play with some balls. Plus, Mom, I came down here to tell you I want to study medicine, but it looks like I'll have to rethink my entire life because of him," Isabel said, frustration clear while giving her brother the death stare.
"Hunny, don't worry. If it's medicine, then you'll be alright. The university is based on sports, but they have a great medical program, plus this decision is final." Isabel's mom tells her with the same calm voice and an icy glare, and that's when Isabel decides to just give it up because her word against 3 meant nothing.
A week later, Isabel officially moved to Texas. Initially, she struggled to adjust, but eventually, she found herself genuinely liking the place. However, things took a turn on her first day of college. Despite her initial excitement, the people she encountered were less than friendly, especially her new lab partner, Elias Turner. For some inexplicable reason, he seemed to harbor animosity toward her, sparking a reciprocal feeling of dislike. Isabel couldn't believe that out of all the people in such an important class, she had to be stuck with a guy who came off as a total jerk. Little did she know, this encounter marked just the beginning of her relationship with Elias Turner, the hottest guy on campus. But that realization was yet to come.
