Katerina Alonso was painting peacefully on a summer evening, the windows were open she could feel the heat emanating from the sun, as she painted, sounds of classical Mozart played in the background. Sounds of singing birds came from outdoors. This calm Ambience is everything Katerina loved the smell of the paints and the feeling of the brush on a canvas, her canvas, painting is the only time she truly felt like she was in control. She controlled every color, every stroke, every movement. It was absolute bliss.

She was entering another art contest, previously all she's ever gotten was 5th place, honorable mention, or 3rd place if she was lucky. Frustration seeped into her brain she couldn't understand what she wasn't doing to get 1st place, what were they doing that she wasn't? Why were all her efforts in vain? Why was she not enough? She wasn't going to let it happen again not this time.

Katerina decided to paint again and enter one last time this time with the medium she was most skilled at, she usually never used it because of how time consuming it is but she decided she has nothing to lose.

When she was finally done painting she went to grab her cup of water and down it when she realized she didn't drink water, but paint thinner, she suddenly couldn't breathe, she felt weak and then everything went dark. She couldn't believe it when she had finally made a masterpiece she died. What a pitiful death.

She started to open her eyes in a strange place, a place she had never seen before. The ceilings were high and it seemed the bed she was laying on was silk and the size of it was bigger than five of her normal beds. She stood up and inspected her surroundings she was in a room that could fit three of hers, massive windows with beautiful velvet curtains with an equally beautiful design, the sun shined in and she looked out of the window the grass was freshly cut, a gorgeous fountain highlighted the entrance to this mansion, my god..... She was in a mansion on the second floor. She suddenly saw her reflection on the window, and she couldn't recognize herself. She ran to the large mirror and looked at herself intensely.

"What. the. actual. FUCK?!" Katerina exclaimed.

This made servants run to the room in fear. A maid rushed in "My lady?! Is everything alright lady Elvira?" Hearing this, suddenly Katerina knew exactly what was going on, she had reincarnated into a Wattpad fanfiction she read when she was in middle school, she had reread it so many times she had the damn thing memorized.
