"YOU ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!" I was pushed against the wall by my father, blood dripping out of my mouth, three cuts across my face. "YOU RAISED THIS DISGRACE!" I bared my teeth and tried to resist his power. He punched my head into the wall as I clenched my eyes. "I wish I'd aborted you while I could've. Worthless child. Go back to the ghetto with your dad." My eyes lit up lifeless, struggling to comprehend what was happening.

The door opened. But my parents didn't hear. My father continued to scream at me while my mother called me every racist insult under the sun. "GET OFF HER." It was Felix and his mum. His mum rushed towards me shoving my dad out of the way while Felix pulled out his phone and dialled the police. "Honey, honey are you alright?" Tears poured out from my eyes, I was completely useless, I felt blinded by shock. "F-felix.." His mum turned around and grabbed his phone off him, continuing the call.

I felt so lost and I just wished I could've lived a more fortunate life with a happier family. I looked up at Felix, his face covered with worry for me. My parents watched in shock as I just waited for him to do something. "Felix.." he stared at me. "Are you okay, love?" I pulled myself up to kiss him and we just stayed there. This was possibly the worst time we could've chosen to kiss but I just wanted him to know I loved him.

We pulled back slowly and he smiled softly at me. "They found out I slept with you." He looked up at my parents who were kicking off more by the second as officers stormed into the house, freeing Felix's mother from trying to contain them. "YOU SINNER, GO TO HELL USELESS CHILD. I WISH I NEVER FORGAVE YOUR MOTHER AND GOT RID OF YOU WHILE I COULD'VE."

Blood dripped down my head towards my mouth and I held my mouth open to let more blood escape. "H-help." I slid down the wall towards the floor so I could sit down, Felix going down with me. "What do you need, baby? Tell me, I'll do whatever you need." I held my arms open and he hugged me close as paramedics rushed in as well to examine my injuries.

He got pushed away from me as many people in uniforms swarmed me, trying to figure out how threatening my cuts were. I saw Felix and his mum hug briefly before Felix got taken out for questioning. But he came back in shortly. The paramedics seemed to make way for him and he grabbed my hand softly. "I love you." He got up and left the room once again.

I woke up in the hospital one day later, he was sitting by my side. He ran his fingers around the palm of my hand and seemed to sigh. I was struggling to open my eyes due to a lack of consciousness but I heard him and his mother. "It's been a day, I can't help but worry mum." I heard her walk around to the side of the room Felix was in and hug him. "I know sweetheart but once she wakes up, she can move in with us and be happy and away from her parents, we've just got to be patient."
