Today was the day nia went to church a life without God can leave you in a horrible place as you seen before
"Thank miss leaf for letting me come with you" nia said opening the door for her
"Oh your welcome baby I'm glad you came a lot of young girls rather worry about that cardi b and and skillet baby" she said making her laugh
"I know" nia said closing the door back for her
"Would you like to come in for dinner" miss leaf asked
"Oh um I have to you know um- chile come on in I know you stay by yourself and you probably lonely" miss leaf said
"How she know I live by myself" Mia thought
"Okay I can come on what are you cooking" nia asked rubbing her stomach
"Just some fried chicken,cabbage,Mac and cheese and candy yams you like that" miss leaf asked making her smiled
"I love it" nia nodded
"Okay you can sit down while I cook and watch tv you gotta wait a minute for the color to pop up whew I need me a new one" miss leaf said
"Why not get one" nia asked sitting on the couch taking off her slippers
"Money is tight as me and I'm taking care of my two grandkids it's hard" she nodded pulling food out
"Awe how old are your grandkids" nia smiled
"My grandson Marvin he's twenty two and my granddaughter ikea is twenty nine" she smiled as nia chuckled
"Uh aren't they a little old" nia asked
"Yeah I get it but they still my babies they never had no momma so they just latch onto me" she said and nia nodded leaning back on the couch she knew she would fall asleep soon

"Grandma why you bringing in strangers" the girl asked with a attitude
"Girl unlike you she has her own house she stays next door" miss leaf said
"Aye get up" she heard as she got shook
"Stop shaking her like that boy before I knock you out" miss leaf said as nia snatched her arm back because he was shaking her hard
"My bad" he mumbled walking back to the kitchen
"Nia the foods done so I told him to wake you up come sit at the table" miss leaf told her making her stand
"Okay" nia mumbled wiping the slob from her cheek
Just nasty
Going in her purse she pulled out a stick of gum so they couldn't smell her breath too much
"These are my grandkids Marvin and ikea" miss leaf said and she waved
"Wassup" Marvin nodded looking her up and down
"Mhm hi" ikea rolled her eyes
"Sit next to me" miss leaf said
"How many months you pregnant"Martin asked
"I'm almost six months now" nia smiled
"Who yo baby daddy I probably know him" ikea said making her grandmother look at her
"They dont live here so you most likely you don't" nia said

"Yes they" nia nodded
"You kinky- ok that's enough everybody got a story so nobody should be tryna ask or judge anybody at this table" miss leaf said
