Disclaimer: I don't own pitbabe and any of the characters. This is also my first time writing.

Babe has always had a small circle of people whom he could call friends. Mainly revolving around the X Hunters team. The alphas he had sex with are not even in the outer circle he interacts with. Usually, lasting one or two sex and Babe finds their scent too strong and chases them away.

Charlie was the exception. Puppy Charlie, without knowing what he is, no one could assume he is an alpha. Always tailing Babe with a smile, you could almost see dog ears perked up and a tail wagging when Babe is around or when the topic is Babe, which is almost always.

The first time Babe met Charlie, he was intrigued. He did not reek of Alpha scent. He is not aggressive, possessive, or controlling like any Alpha. He knows his place with Babe. Charlie made Babe comfortable and relaxed. With Charlie, Babe could let down his guard. With Charlie , he felt content. He felt happy.

Now, his Charlie remains lying lifelessly still on a hospital bed. The only indication that he is still alive is the heart monitor attached to him beeping with his heartbeat. His expressive Charlie is lying on a bed, unresponding to any stimulus.

The first time Babe saw Charlie lying down on the hospital bed with bruises covering his face and body and a cast on his right arm. Babe felt crushed. He felt distraught. Seeing Charlie lifeless was enough to bring tears to his eyes. It was so normal and natural for Charlie to be smiling and being active, and seeing him lifeless is causing Babe so much distressed that he does not know how to feel anything else but angst.

Every time Babe closes his eyes, he can almost hear Charlie's voice in his head calling his name repeatedly, wanting his attention, causing more tears to well up in his eyes.

Charlie, according to the doctors, who put him in a medically induced coma for 2 days to give his body a chance to focus on the worse parts of injury, officially declared him to be in a coma after not showing signs of waking up for 48 hrs after they waned him off the drugs that put him under. They stated that it does sometimes happen and to stay positive that he will wake up...

It has been 3 months since the accident and the prognosis and not once did Charlie show signs of waking up.

After the 1st month, his friends has decided that Babe should go out instead of staying coup up in the hospital and started trying to convince him to go out, exercising or get his stuffs at home, to come by the garage to Charlie not wanting to see him like this (that got them a reaction).

"Babe you should go out and get some air we'll be here with Charlie."

"Charlie would want you to take care of yourself"

"You should do your normal routine to not worry him"

"How sad would Charlie be to wake up and see you wranged"

"If he sees you lose your position beacause of him, knowing how much you've worked hard to earn what you have, he will only blame himself"

And after 2 weeks of trying, persuading, coaxing to get him out of the hospital, Babe finally relented.

After 2 months of Charlie showing no signs of waking up, Babe slowly starts going back to the garage and to the tracks, he started training again for the oncoming race.

A new habit or a ritual of his, instead of sleeping around with alphas before and after a race, what he does is to is to simply sleep or nap. In his sleep where he can always see Charlie smiling, laughing, pouting, whining, sulking, being sexy, being cute and just being able to see his eyes shine and being with him.

It was staggeringly unremarkable how fast everything came back to his original routine before meeting Charlie. Everything became a  monotonous routine, wake up, eat, go to the garage, train, race, eat, sleep and repeat. The only difference was the hospital visits and him sleeping more or napping more when his not in the hospital.

Note:

Waahhh, sorry, this chapter is messy and not cohesive.
I can now relate to writers. It's so hard to write a long story T-T. I'm running out of words and ideas on how to transition and phrase the words.
