Abhi's PoV:

College life is not anything like I have ever expected in my life I am not saying that I expected anything like what is shown in Karan Johar's movies but I thought it would be more fun and exciting than this. Online it was written that in my college Ragging does happen and it is quite often but nothing has happened so far. It's just that you have to wish your seniors good morning, good afternoon, or good evening and say mam/sir. Me and my friend (Kartik) was standing in the college administrative reception due to some issue with his admission.

That is when I saw her, she was the only girl batchmate that I had interacted with. I have not seen her in any induction activities yet. I guess she just came from her home. She is talking with another girl with whom she is walking with. She is cute though. No Abhi you cannot think about other girls. It feels like cheating. Concentrate on your girl Abhi though you don't have any right to call her yours. What if she has a boyfriend no no she said she doesn't have a boyfriend. What if she already likes some she would not tell me that would she?

"Abhimanyu let's go"

"Tera kaam ho gya? "

"haa bhai"

"vaise aaj induction kiska hai? "

"10-1 technical club ka hai. 2-3 Literary club ka hai."

"chalo kuch aache club toh hai varna aabhi tak toh sab bakwas the"

"haa room number 222 mein jana hai "

We went to 2 floor trying to find the room 217,218,219,220,221 and the block ends there.

Me and kartik look at each other.

"yar yeh toh block hi end ho gya."

we went to the other block running as we were late right now.

The first room in the other block is 212. It is a big room with benches inside with the smart board present there.
We entered the classroom with the permission of a senior standing near the door. Everyone turned to look back and us. Embarrassing. My eyes locked with her as I was walking towards the benches. As I sat down on my bench. She broke the eye contact and looked towards the front. She was standing in front with seniors near the podium. What is she doing there? Is she going to give a presentation but it was the technical club's induction, right?

One of the seniors started to speak and introduce the club and the activities of club.

"The activities that we held last year were hacktober which was held in the whole month of october. "

There were photos of last year's hactober on the smart board. In one of the photos there was divya so definitely she is not a first-year. I looked towards her again she was smirking. I just shook my head and looked back at the presentation. They have started calling every member individually to introduce themselves and soon her turn comes up as well.

"Hello everyone. I am Vani Raval."

Well, I guess she even told me the wrong name. In the presentation, there was a photo of her, and her about her was written there.

" I am in 3rd year and my branch is Information Technology. My Tech stack includes C++ and Python. In the last 2 years I have taken part in different hackathons like Smart India Hackathon, overnite and have won 2nd rank in Code Golf."

"I have done internships for Shyft and zepto."

Impressive. Nahi aabhi ab bhi jhut bol rahi ho tujhe kya pata.

"Other than coding I am interested in playing video games and badminton."

Hey Bhagwan kya aapko bhot maza aa raha hai why does she like all of these? I like them as well first coding then badminton and video games too.

"I hope you guys will work hard on coding would join our club. Thank you"

As if I am going anywhere near you now miss Jhuti.

After her all the members gave their Introduction. I was listening half-mindedly. I am still stuck on why did she lie she could have just said ki she is a senior. Maybe she is the kind of person who likes playing games. If you want to play games I will play as well. but the reality is I can't do anything about it she is a senior after all. At most, I could pretend I didn't know her.

"If anyone has any query you can ask now". Announced the president of the club.

People started to raise their hands.

"Mam how did you find internship."

"Yaar I got my internship offers from the hackathons. Hackathon mein na sponsors hote and waha recruiters bhi hote hai. If they like your performance, they might offer you internship or job."

"which programming language is best" other student asked.

" There is no best language. All language have their purpose like Javascript is used for web development, Java for android, c++ for operaiting system and game development. It totally depends on you wand what you what to work in. "

"You can use multiple languages as well for example I use C++ for Competitive coding and python for all other purpose." Vani said this.

3rd person Pov

After the round of questions and answers a game was played that helps in logical building and Abhimanyu came 2nd. The whole club along with the winners took photos. One of the winners was Abhimanyu and maybe it was destiny or something our protagonists were standing together side by side for a picture. That's how there first photo was together like and it will definitely not be their last one together. They have a long way to go.
