Chapter 8

Mira POV:

"Laxus!!!"

Ron came rushing in and saw Laxus on the floor.

"Oh dear, oh dear. It's happening again." He said worriedly.

"What?? What's Happening??" I shout.

Ron looks up at me. "The curse."

I suddenly feel a burning feeling on my chest. I look down and see my necklace glowing green.

I look at Ron, then out the window. The clouds were really close, and Lightning was sparking in the clouds.

"Laxus.." I look at Laxus lying on the floor.

Memories suddenly came flooding back to me.

I was eavesdropping on my mom and dad.

"It's coming." My dad was saying.

"Maybe she can defeat it and be a hero, instead of a monster!" My mom exclaimed.

"No. It's too dangerous. She is too young. What if it fails? We will be putting everyone in danger."

"But.." My mom started to stay before I heard the door cracking open. I ran back to my room I shared with my little sister and hid behind the door.

~Another memory~

It was dark. Everyone was running. The clouds were coming down. Black lightning was cracking in the clouds.

"Mama? Papa! Hello?" I was looking for them. I looked back to the clouds and saw someone sitting and crying. I looked closer and screamed as the clouds engulfed her.

"LISSANA!!!!!!!!!"

The world turned black. What's happening? Am I dead? No.. it's diffrent.. I feel... stronger?

Wait.. I can see.. Its those clouds..

I look down. My hands.. Their diffrent..

I remember now... Lissana.. Those clouds hurt Lissana!!!! I roar.

I charge towards the clouds, ignoring the pain in my neck. I'm transforming....

I lash out. The clouds disappear.. Are they retreating?

I look back at the city. People are looking at me in horror. I look down.

Big brother.. Why aren't you moving.. Big brother?

The work turns black.

Flashback End

No.. My parents.. Big brother.. little sister.. Their gone.. because of me..

"Laxus.." I look down at his unconscious body. "Ill fix this.."

I run out of the house ignoring Ron calling after me.

It's my fault they are gone.. So now I'll fix this.

I stand in front of the swirling clouds. Its like last time.. But I'm stronger now.

I have to do this. I'm sorry mom..

I yank of the necklace ignoring the piercing pain in my hand and my neck.

"Satin Soul!!!!" I scream.

Its dark.. But Now I can see.. People are yelling and running away from the clouds. I will fix this now.

A beast starts to form in the clouds.. A Snake..

He hisses. "Hellloooo little girll. Are you backkk to try againnn."

"I'll beat you this time." I growl.

"Devil Horns!!" The Snake is engulfed in black wind.

He brakes out and wraps his tail around me, squeezing me tight.

"I will not let you defeat me!" I yell.

"Iss That sssoo."

"Furious Flames!!" The snakes eyes are clouded by black fire. He screams and drops me.

I get up again.

"Hell of Ice!!" I punch his scales with my fist sending him flying.

"This is for my sister!!"

"Gallo Fist!"

I punch him again.

"This is for my brother!"

"Hell Furry!!!!!" Flames shoot from my fist.

"This is for my parents!"

"Flaming Buddu!!"

"And this is for all the people you hurt!!!" I scream.

"Forbidden art, Hell Arise!!!!!!"

Two doors with skeletons shoot up from the floor. They open and red and black chains shoot out and grab the snake.

"No!" He screams. "No No No!!!!!"

He is pulled inside and the doors disappear.

I fall to the ground.

"Miraaaa!!!!" Someone screams.

Everything turns black.
