After leaving his hometown of West Orange, New Jersey and moving to Miami, Florida, Twitch streamer Plaqueboymax was in desperate need of a new loctician.
Him being very particular about his hair didn't make the process of finding one any easier either, he spent months looking for a stylist since locs weren't something you could healthily manipulate whenever you wanted.
After successfully finding a girl (under unique circumstances) who could give him the styles and care he wanted, despite her rather expensive prices, he began to visit her regularly & they began to bond outside of the topic of his hair.
In the midst of this, & to the lack of his knowledge, he began misconstruing the young cosmetologist into believing they had more than just a client and stylist relationship.
Max had no intention of being in a serious relationship, let alone with her... but didn't exactly want the opposite of that either...
