Years later

It's been years after that and Umbreon was working as the trainer's slave for his family's sake.

He watched the foulest experiments took place right in front of him, been abused, didn't get any sleep and didn't have any food at all. He was really hungry.

Umbreon walked about as the trainer's slave.

The trainer sat by, watched as Umbreon did his dirty work, he was never a good trainer at all.

Umbreon then saw three prisoners, a lion, a scarlet wolf and a psychic cat who looked like she was completely blind. He approached them.

"How is she?" Says Umbreon

"Her eyes are gouged out! Guess!" Says the lion

Umbreon passes a medicine jar

"That will dull the pain." Says Umbreon

The scarlet wolf bangs on the cage.

"You're vile to be part of this!!!" Says the wolf

"You're my trainer's prisoners, I'm his slave. He has my family, he'll kill them if I don't obey" says Umbreon

"What are your names?" Says Umbreon

"I'm Solgaleo, that's Espeon who's blind and Midnight is the one you spoke to before" says Solgaleo

"Nice to meet you three..." says Umbreon

"Why did he pick you?" Says Midnight

"So he could learn.. how i shapeshift" says Umbreon

"So how does it work? You just shapeshift into anything you want?" Says Solgaleo

"I can shift only between this, and my natural form" says Umbreon

Umbreon changes into his moon fox self

"You're a moon fox, your race can shapeshift?" Says Midnight

"None can except me" says Umbreon, his voice was darker than before

Umbreon changes back as the trainer arrives.

"Are they ready? It's time" says the trainer

"Time for what?" Says Midnight

"Replication experiments, when I'm done. There'll be no trace left of you" says the trainer

The trainer looks at Umbreon who flinched

"I'll shall return soon to check progress. I have other matters to which I must attend" says the trainer

Umbreon nods and the trainer leaves.

"You don't have to do this" says Midnight

"It's either you, or my family" says Umbreon

Umbreon frees the enemies

"Put them in the chambers" says Umbreon

Solgaleo, Dusk Mane and Midnight begin fighting.

They manage to stop the enemies and try to escape. Umbreon stops them.

"I'm ruined! My trainer will punish me for this by torturing my family!" Says Umbreon

Midnight looks at him.

"You'll pay.. for this suffering zombie!" Says Umbreon

Midnight manages to defeat Umbreon.

"We are leaving!" Says Midnight

Umbreon is on his knees after being defeated and he takes off his mask.

"Then kill me.. if I die.. maybe he'll spare my family.." says Umbreon

"No. I won't murder you" says Midnight

"It's mercy, not murder. Not that what I done deserves yours" says Umbreon

"You were protecting your family, I would've done the same" says Midnight

Umbreon looks at Midnight and gets back up.

The trainer arrives and realises what happened.

"Umbreon you fool! You let them ruin everything!" Says the trainer

Umbreon feels even more hurt.

"I bid you all farewell then, cheer up Umbreon. I'm reuniting you with your family" says the trainer

"They're dead?! You killed them!!" Says Umbreon

"Many moons ago, I do hate loose ends" says the trainer

Umbreon chases the trainer but he leaves, Umbreon breaks down into tears.

Midnight approaches him and hugs him gently, cradling him.
