"Man, what the heck was I laying on." I moaned, Pushing myself into a sitting position. The pain in my back and head were excruciating.
I sat there, rubbing my pounding temples, slowly taking in my surroundings.

"What the heck?"

I stared at blurry high gray walls, all around me, cement. There wasn't a single window. There were four glass objects on the corners of the room, high above me. The only light I could see the room with was 12 feet above me, and flickering on and off.

What is going on? What is happening?
I thought to myself as I made my way around the room, feeling the wall with my hands. The light flickers, on off, on off on. "Just great." I mutter, glad to be focusing on the light then on where I was.

After feeling the walls and walking from one wall to the other, I figured out I had a width of about 12 feet.

I sat in the middle of the room, trying in vain to remember.

¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥
(Then what felt like 5 days later)

Between hours of screaming, crying and crawling on the floor I had managed to understand that something had happened to me. Something more than just a kidnapping.

I had been brain-washed. Maybe even experimented on. I couldn't remember if I had been kidnaped wearing this black top and black shorts or if they were put on me. My hair either was always like this or had been chopped short and dyed blonde.

A small click noise from above startled me.

"WHAAAAAA WHAAAAAAAAA WHAAAAAAAA WHAAAAAAAAA!"

A siren whaled and four red lights on the top corners of the room spun, bathing the room in a deep shade of red.

I stood up, holding my ears. The gray, cold cement, wasn't comfortable anyway.

"WELCOME HOME SARAH"

A deep voice bellowed. I stared at the speaker, also high above me. "Sarah?" I whispered to myself. Was that really my name? I had no recollection of ever hearing it, and it sounded foreign coming from my mouth.

"That's not your name." A whisper behind me said. I spun around, clearly hearing the voice, but no one was there.

"STEP OUTSIDE YOUR CELL AND FOLLOW THE LIGHTS"

The deep voice finished before a soft click turned it off.

One of the massive walls vibrated and a small door opened to reveal a hallway. Blinking lights on the bottom of the hallways walls, gave just enough light to see in front of me, as soon as I walked past a light, it would shut off.

"What is this!?" I yelled, anger substituting for fear.
"Who are you!? Who am I!?"
That last part stopped me. Who AM I?
I had no idea who I was.

A click warned me that the voice was about to speak.

"FOLLOW THE LIGHTED PATHWAY SARAH" Ending with a click.

"Please God, give me strength." I whispered, and took a step towards whatever lay ahead.
