A week later,
Shelby walked down the road to Bucky's house. Johnny had told her he had been released from the hospital.
Willow was making Bucky lunch when Shelby knocked on the door. She went to open the door.
"Hey Willow.." she said
"Hey Shelby what brings you here?" Willow said as she let her in.
"Um..well I have been ordered to apologize to James." She said as she looked down.
"Willow who is at the door?" Bucky yelled from the bedroom.
"Come on I was about to bring him his lunch so he can take his medicine." Willow said
Shelby shook her head in agreeance and followed her.
"You have a visitor baby and here's your food." She said as they went into the bedroom.
"A visitor? Who hasn't been by today?" He said then he saw Shelby.
"Shelby?" He said
"Hi.." she said softly
"Are you okay?" He said
She shook her head yes. "I um..I'm sorry James." She said
"Sorry?" He said confused
"Dad showed me the camera footage. I'm sorry that I got you hurt cause I didn't know what was going on." She said
"Shelby it's okay. The music was loud.." he said
She hit her lip, "Dad also told me that I had to find a way to make it up to you. So I um figured maybe I could help take care of you. I mean I kinda know a few things before I dropped out of nursing school." She said
"Shelby that's not-" he said
But Willow chimed in, "I could always use a extra set of hands James. Besides between me and her I'm sure we can figure it out. I dropped out too Shelby. So we can figure it out together and take care of him."
Bucky let out a small sigh. "Fine..she can stay in the guest room." He said as he finished his food.
