Valentines Day ❤️

First time doing a Heartstopper One Shot! I hope it goes well. Let me know what you think of this one, but please! No hurtful comments or insults.

Nick woke up this morning and realized that today was Valentine's Day! He wanted everything to be perfect and get the perfect gift for his Charlie! He has outdone himself the past Valentine's Days. Last year, he got Charlie a puppy! What could he get him this year?

After he got ready, Nick was brainstorming what to get Charlie for Valentine's Day this year, but all his ideas were a bust! He started to give up hope, but that was before his wonderful mother, Sarah Nelson, asked what was wrong.

Nick sighed and said: "I'm trying to make the perfect Valentine's gift for Charlie, but I can't think of anything! What should I give him?" Sarah smiled and said: "Baby, you know that Charlie will love anything you'll get him. He loves you enough that he'll be fine with whatever you give him. He would date you if you were rich or poor. He would date you if lived in a tent or a castle. He would date you if the only you could afford was hugs and kisses. That's how much he loves you."

Nick sniffled and hugged his mother. "Thanks, Mum!" Nick cried. Nick had the perfect Valentine's Day present for Charlie after that conversation.

Meanwhile with Charlie

Charlie was looking on his Instagram seeing couples with their Valentine's Day gifts. Charlie was still looking for what to get Nick for Valentine's Day. He wanted to keep it simple a first with just a box of chocolates and flowers, (like he does every year) but after seeing all the gifts Nick gets him the past few years, he decided he needed to step it up!

Charlie decided that the perfect gift to get his boyfriend is to give him back the hoodies he "borrowed." Maybe that would be a good gift! Right!?

Hours later, Nick texted Charlie to meet him at the park. They both had a surprise for each other! When they met up at the park they both said the same thing:

"I have a surprise for you!"

"You do!?"

"Then you go first!"

"Okay! Okay! I'll go first!" Charlie said. "It's not as good as the ones you've given me in the past, but I still hope you like it!" He then gave Nick all his hoodies that Charlie "borrowed."

Nick was surprised that Charlie gave them back. He had a bright smile on his face, then he gave Charlie one of the hoodies. "This one you can keep!" Nick chirped. "Here's my surprise!"

Nick whistled and Nellie appeared. She ran up to Charlie and he just straight up hugged her!
"Is this your surprise? You're giving me Nellie now?" Charlie asked. Nick chuckled and shook his head. "Nellie's here because we're gonna have a relaxing time at the park with our favorite dog."

Charlie hugged Nick and he hugged him back. Right now, Nick could afford hugs and kisses and that's what Charlie wants.

"I love you Nick." Charlie said

"I love you too!" Nick replied

Then they kissed
