One rainy and foggy day, the gates of North Carolina Elementary school in America opened. The pupils came rushing in and played in the teeth-chattering cold. When the bell went, everyone scurried off to their classrooms. In the Kindergarten area, all the children hurried and gathered together as the teacher called them. It was May and everyone came back from a week of holiday due to May Day.
"Okay everyone, I got some good news to share. There are 2 new children who are joining your class. They are going to come here part time because they have just turned 3. Treat them nicely now. Here's Skye Summer and Chelsea Daniels."
When she said that, 2 girls came out from behind her. Skye had aqua blue eyes that were full of energy and curiosity, with pitch, black straight hair, that she plaited into a side braid. Chelsea had emerald green eyes that were luminous. Both of Skye's and Chelsea's eyes were bright and lit up the room. Chelsea had curly, hazel brown hair, which she put in a simple ponytail. Plus she wore black, cool glasses. All the children stared at them in awe and amazement. They looked different and bright, but very cute and childlike.
After that, the teacher told everyone to come inside and sit down because she had to take the register. She called each of the children's names one by one. Then she called Skye's name and she said,
"Here Miss!" in a cheery and energetic voice.
Then she called Chelsea's names and she shouted,
"Here!!" in a loud and happy voice.
After that she dismissed everyone, and everyone ran out to the playground, luckily the rain stopped. Running towards the scooters, Skye noticed Chelsea. Chelsea's eyes were focused on the ground, until she finally looked up at Skye. They both ran to each other and at the same time, they shouted
"Hey, be my fwend?"
When they said that, they both started laughing, until their bellies ached. They wiped each other's tears of joys and that was the day that their beautiful friendship started.
They grew up with each other, side by side and survived Kindergarten and Elementary school together. They also went through their first year in Arizona Middle school. Now they are in their second year, still spreading their wings together. Supporting each other through thick and thin.
