It was a breezy Tuesday morning when Skye and Chelsea walked to school. Everyone was talking about the trip to Hollywood. It was basically what everyone was talking about in their year. They were going to leave next week on Wednesday. Of course they were both excited ; they couldn't even stop talking about it. No one had stopped talking about Hollywood. Every time they even thought about it, ther hearts would beat in excitement; tingles shivered down their spines in a simultaneous motion.
As they walked into class, they saw everyone talking to each other. Obviously they knew what they were talking about. They sat down and compared their shopping lists. It consisted -of course- of the same things: toiletries, fabulous new clothes and a notebook to write up all the fun things they are going to do there.
Then bracing herself, Chelsea shouted out,
"Who's ready for Hollywood!!!"
Everyone put their hands up and chorused, "ME!!!" It was so funny, that when Skye and Chelsea started laughing and then everyone else joined in.

Tuesday afternoon after school
"So what do you think I should wear for the big arrival?" Chelsea asked.
There wasn't any response.
"Skye! Are you listening?" Chelsea asked, clearly very exasperated.
"Of course, I did. You said something about arriving and clothes...OK, fine, I don't know,"
Skye said distractedly while flipping pages of a magazine.
"I just can't wait until we see the great landmarks of Hollywood. Like the Walk of fame or the Hollywood sign or..."And she was cut off as Chelsea's mum burst in.
"Sweeties, please be careful when you're there. Especially around places like the Hollywood sign," She warned.
"Don't worry, I already know what you're going to say. Oh don't talk to strangers. Don't accept rides from strangers-"Now Chelsea was cut off by her mother.
"No! You don't know why and I can't tell you right now,"She retorted. Then she turned to Skye."Honey, I think you are needed back home for dinner."
Skye got the message. After she bid goodbye to Chelsea and her mum, she went home.
"Mum! How can you just embarrass me like that! God, what is up with you!" Chelsea exclaimed.
"Chelsea, honey. I have my reasons why I do this. You know that. I just...think that you will find out really soon. OK?" She apologised.
"OMG! You're engaged. That's it, isn't it? You found a man? Why didn't you ever tell me? I will have to put him through a series of tests, you know that," Chelsea told her.
"My crazy girl! You're delusional. I'm never getting married again, OK!!!"And with that note, she kissed her daughter on the head and strolled out of the room.
