Paimon isn't very helpful.
Master Diluc, Master Jean, and a bard have been more help than my fairy guide.
Surprising? Not much.
"Y/N, thank you for all your help. You really didn't have to do all of this for us.."
Jean smiled as we traversed to the spot where Venti would be summoning Dvalin, aka stormterror.
"D-D-D-Don't w-w-w-w-worry, M-M-M-M-Master Jean..!"
Y/N stuttered, a smile on her face.
(Stutter count?)
"We're here."
Venti had a serious look on his face as he stopped, the lyre in his hand.
"Well then, bard. Go on."
Diluc grumbled, standing back but ready to attack.
Jean pulled out her sword, Y/N following her lead.
Venti pulled out his lyre, playing a joyful tune.
(it's been so long since i did this quest, or even written anything for this book, bear with me)
"..Barbatos...."
A deep voice rang, causing the mortals (semi-mortals included [Y/N]) to look around in panic.
"Dvalin, old friend."
Venti smiled wistfully, holding a hand out.
"You seem to be in so much pain, little one."
He continued, his smile dropping.
"Oh tell me, what wounds you so?"
Dvalin opened his mouth to speak, a squeaky and scratchy ass voice interrupting.
'No....He's tricking you...'
'Just like he did all those years ago. Don't fall for it again.'
They all looked around, seeing an abyss mage on the large dragon's back, spitting and whispering venom into his ear.
"Dvalin. I'd never trick you! The abyss is corrupting you! Don't listen to them- ACK-"
Dvalin flapped his large wings, screeching and flying away.
The strong winds made Jean hold Venti up, the holy lyre broken.
"B-B-B-B-B-Barbara i-i-i-i-is g-g-g-g-g-gonna be so p-p-p-p-pissed.."
Y/N muttered, glancing at the lyre.
"W-W-What now?"
She glanced around, looking at all the defeated members of their small party.
"What next? Why, we go to Dvalin's lair, of course!"
Venti cheered, a small smile back on his face.
"W-W-W-W-W-Well f-f-f-f-fucking s-s-s-s-shit."
