Childe sat through the meeting patiently, listening to the other employees' input and suggestions. The meeting was over before he knew it, and he couldn't help but feel relieved when it was done.

Childe glanced over at [y/n], and he noticed her adjusting her notes and files as she packed them away to prepare herself to leave.
He wondered if he could use her as an excuse to stay a little longer, but he stopped himself, realizing that it would seem to obvious.
"You did a great job representing the organization, [y/n]." He said gently.

"It's my job as your assistant sir" [y/n] replied honestly not trying to be as modest as she could. Childe nodded.

"Yes, I know that, but you exceeded expectations. You're very capable and well-informed, which is a good combination." He paused for a moment and then smiled at her, wanting to compliment her more fully. "I'm very proud of you, and I think that the organization is in good hands when you're leading the way."

He couldn't help but be sincere, as he really appreciated [Y/n]'s hard work and dedication. He didn't want to sound cheesy, but he really was impressed by her performance today.

"I'll take that compliment, thank childe" she said politely, she loved how sweet he was sometimes it made her heart flutter.

Childe was happy that she had accepted the compliment. "As you should, [y/n]. You deserve it"

He continued smiling at her, but he quickly realized that the meeting was over and they had to leave the room. He stood up and walked out of the conference room. As soon as he left the room, he realized that [y/n] was following him closely once again, and he wondered if he should try and make some small talk with her again on the way back to their offices.

[y/n] could feel her stomach grumble but she didn't want to interrupt his busy schedule. She instead decided to play it cool.
"So you have two meetings after lunch so would it be best for you to eat now with your busy schedule?" She asked sweetly.

He thought for a moment as they walked.

"Yes, you're right, [y/n]. I should probably have a quick lunch. Maybe even eat something quick in my office while I check some things..."
He paused for a moment, as he looked at his watch.
It was about 1PM now, and he realized that eating lunch now would be a good idea.He then sighed, as he couldn't help but feel a little hungry.
"I think that's a good idea, [y/n]. Thanks.."

She wanted to spend more time with him but she thought it was best to simply do it herself and let him work, he was a busy man after all.
"I could do a quick errand, I I don't have anything between now and the end of work" she suggested. Childe raised an eyebrow as he thought about it for a moment.

"That sounds like a good idea, [y/n]..."
He paused for a moment and then laughed slightly.
"... So, you mean to tell me that you have enough free time that you can run errands while at work?" She nodded at his response wondering what was so funny.
He seemed amused, but he couldn't help but be a little impressed by her dedication to the job.

"What errand are you thinking of doing during lunch?"

"Well are you hungry." She asked, she wanted to make sure she didn't waste her time.

Childe was a bit surprised by her sudden question, but then he thought about it for a moment. "... Yes, I am hungry, [y/n]. Very true."
