2023
Jude went back to Germany after England lost against France in the World Cup and Sophia was gutted. She held Jude's hand that night and she hugged him when they were sat in his room. But she was also gutted because she found herself in a different country than Jude and she hated it.
Jude was gutted as well. He felt that he wasn't enough for England, which Sophia pointed out was silly, because he had a very big career to look forward to and she assured him that one day, he would be one of the best midfielders in the World and he would one day win a Ballon D'or. It was silly for Jude, but that night, he held onto Sophia's hand and when they reached his room, she hugged him and held him until the morning and he was very grateful to have a girl in his life who supported him and everything he did. But he was also gutted that he was going off to Germany and he didn't want to be apart from Sophia, but she also assured him that she would be fine and reminded him again of the big and brilliant career that he was set to have. He knew as well as she did that Dortmund was going to present him with amazing opportunities. Man City, Liverpool and Real Madrid were all interested in a Summer transfer and Jude knew that he would have to make a decision. But for now, he wanted to focus on Sophia.
So in January, Jude arranged for Sophia to come to Dortmund and watch him play against Augsburg, which resulted in a 4-3 win for Dortmund, with Jude also scoring.
"Aww, I'm so proud," Sophia said to Jude as he picked her up and spinning her around and lightly brushing his lips against hers.
"My good luck charm," Jude replied, squeezing her hand. "I always need you." It was perfect for them both.
