As the years went by, Alex and Ava's feelings for each other kept growing, even though their parents seemed to forget more and more. It was a good thing. But then, one day, the coronavirus came, and they couldn't be together for Christmas. Instead, they talked on the phone every day because being apart was too hard for them.
On June 30th, which was Jake's birthday, Alex and his family, along with their grandparents, visited Portland . As soon as jake entred the house Avas heart started bitting very fast .
Ava's POV :
When Alex entered the room i couldn't hide my smile and happiness. I missed his beautiful eyes his fluffy hair ugh i missed him so much

Once they arrived, they all went to their respective rooms - the girls to Ava's room and the boys to Jake's room. They were excited to play with Jake's new computer.
While the adults chatted on the balcony, Ava decided to join the boys in their room.
There, she found Alex lying on the bed. As soon as she entered, she climbed onto Jake and hugged him tightly. Both of them were really happy. Later, while watching a movie with all the cousins together, a hero in the movie confess their love to someone so Alex , inspired by the scene, turned to Ava and whispered in her ear :
- Hey Ava
- yeah?
- I like you will you be my girlfriend?
Ava was speechless she didn't expect that from Alex at all she said yes and hugged him with joy and kept him close. After that for the rest of the day these two were inseparable. They were flirting laughing and having great time together .
The celebration came to an end and it was time to part. Alex and Ava and their parents and grandparents gathered to bid eachother farewell. The two lovers walked hand in hand laughing and joyful ignoring the stares around them . When Alex's mother Dayna asked what happened and why they had such love for eachother both blushed and distanced themselves from eachother. Ava went with Katerina and Alex went with Jake. However they continued to maintain eye contact until the last moment.
When the time came to part Alex called Ava to Jake's room. He approached her and kiss her . It was a fairwell kiss full of love and desire. As time passed Ava and Alex found their selves in a relationship filled with passion and love. The distance between them was significant as they lived in different cities but they managed to stay in touch though phone and calls waiting for the next time they will meet again.
