Joshua's POV:

He was laying in bed all day, he was tired and just wanted to sleep, his phone was downstairs, he wanted to call Jeonghan and say everything was fine but he didn't have the energy.

A few minutes later his dad walked in his room with an empty wine bottle and Joshua's phone. Joshua sat up in his bed and looked at his dad in fear. "Who's Hannie?" his dad asked, "That's Jeonghan... a boy from-" Joshua tried explaining before his dad cut his sentence off, "Is he your boyfriend?" he came closer to Joshua. He threw Joshua's phone at him, causing a bruise on his arm. "Tell your stupid boyfriend to shut up, he's annoying me", his dad said "I will, sorry" Joshua replied. His dad left the room, meanwhile Joshua was putting cream on his bruise.

Jeonghan's POV:

"I didn't do anything, I promise", his girlfriend said, "So what are you saying, that he purposely didn't go to school for a couple of weeks?!" Jeonghan replied. He slowly let go of her. "I don't know anything about Joshua" she said, "Then why were you smirking when the principal told me she couldn't tell me his address?" he replied, "Because it's funny knowing that you care about a loser like him" she said, "we're breaking up" he said before walking away, he was tired of her bullshit.

Joshua's POV:

He was crying in his bed, he texted Jeonghan that everything was fine but the internet didn't work so it didn't go through. He suddenly heard the front door open, it was his dad who opened the door, his mother came home, she was also drunk. Joshua got up and hid in his closet, he didn't want any of his parents to hit him. His mom stormed into his room "Joshua!" she yelled out for him, Joshua stayed quiet, "If you don't come out I'll tell your pathetic boyfriend you're breaking up with him!" she yelled, waiting for Joshua to come out of his hiding spot. Suddenly the doorbell rang, it's weird because they weren't expecting anyone. Joshua's dad opened the door, and Jeonghan was there, "Who are you?" his dad asked, "That's none of your business" Jeonghan replied before walking in the house. He got to Joshua's room and pushed his mom aside, he was looking for Joshua and then he opened the closet doors, surprisingly enough, there he was, sitting down, scared. Jeonghan helped Joshua up and hugged him, "Are you okay?" Jeonghan asked, "Yeah, I'm fine, thanks." Joshua replied. Joshua's mom got enough of it and kicked both of them out of the house, they were now standing on the street, Joshua's eyes were swelled with tears. "Let's go to my house, you can stay as long as you'd like", Jeonghan said, knowing that if Joshua went back in his house his parents would hit him. Suddenly Joshua hugged Jeonghan "I'm sorry for my parents, they think that you're my boyfriend and I was scared that they'd hit you as well, I'm so sorry" Joshua said, "No need to apologize, it's fine" Jeonghan said reassuringly. Once they got to Jeonghan's house, Jeonghan immediately started taking care of Joshua's bruises and wounds. "Are you alright?" Jeonghan asked him "Yeah, thanks" Joshua replied
