For generations, six Clans have lived side by side within a large mountain valley, safely cocooned by the harsh terrain around them from outside threats. But their safety does not last. The first Clan to go is SpiderClan, most of their cats stolen by Twolegs with silver cages and huge monsters. Then, ToadClan and SpruceClan, enveloped in a brutal war that tears both Clans apart. DriftClan vanishes in the middle of the night, not a trace left of the once noble Clan. No longer feeling safe, DustClan's leader leads their Clan far away, now only one Clan remaining out of the six. BadgerClan stays, seasons passing like the blink of an eye.
One day, a small group of cats enter the valley, claiming to be descendants of all the lost Clans, including ToadClan and SpruceClan who BadgerClan thought had been wiped out completely. But are these cats trustworthy?
