Yeah! Meeting the advocate.
Shivaay sent the message and headed to meet the advocate. He had received the agreement the day before and had the same for his advocate to run through and take care of the legal formalities, instructions were given to protect the confidentiality of the agreement.
"Do they look good Mr. Desai?" Shivaay asked, once he was settled.
"To begin with Sir, I've made certain changes to this agreement with respect to the legalization, so that it could be more enforceable and defendable; It's marked in yellow." Mr. Desai handed him the agreement copies and Shivaay very keenly went through the papers.
"Apart from that Mr. Oberoi, there are a few matters that require your inputs, if you could arrange a meeting with Ms. Trivedi, we can discuss and close the same." he continued.
"I don't think that would be possible Mr. Desai." Him and Annika meeting an advocate together before marriage would definitely cause a suspicion.
"Financial Disclosures... What does this mean? Am I supposed to disclose my finances?" Shivaay looked up to find Mr. Desai nod in agreement.
"Ridiculous! That's never happening."
"We could limit the wording to cover only personal finances Mr. Oberoi."
"It Doesn't sound better either."
Mr. Desai chuckled.
"Mr. Oberoi I would recommend you to go through the key points once and have a brief discussion with Ms. Trivedi before we could go ahead with this. Green ones are duly discussed and agreed upon from our side."
Shivaay nodded folding the papers.
"Sure thing Mr.Desai! I would also require some insights on the termination of this agreement. Would appreciate if there is any way we could get through this without breaking the terms of the agreement. Also, I will arrange a meeting with Annika, and I'm afraid that would be Online." Shivaay said as he got up to take his leave.
"That would be great! And I will look into what you had said. Good day Mr. Oberoi!" Mr. Desai shook his hands.

As soon as Annika read the message she understood that it was regarding the agreement. She was pretty sure that this would happen, her advocate Mr. Kulkarni had already told her that he was contacted by Mr. Desai and had proposed a few changes and she gave a nod as they looked fairly agreeable. So, she was sort of expecting his message to pop up any time.
"Vidhi! Any important meetings after 4?"
"No mam! Two interviews lined up for the Monthly magazines."
"Push them to the weekend, I've to be somewhere else."
"Ok mam."
"You can take the day off!" Annika added with a smile.
