As I saw Henry looking down on me with a smirk I could definitely say my heart skipped a beat.
He had a suit on that fitted his body the right way, his hair perfectly shaped, his perfect smirk. God I was falling so hard..
"Yea he's in a meeting, if you're any I can schedule a time for you" I say before getting interrupted by Matthew
"No he doesn't need to aurora, call everyone and tell them meetings cancelled" he says "Sure" I say
To be honest I didn't wanna be a bitch infront of anyone since I loved this internship. It was a great, modern place, if I worked here at this internship I could definitely get good recommendations, so yea I'm keeping up with Matthews bullshit.
The meeting was cancelled and Henry was just talking with Matthew. My heart was still beating and still in shock, how did I now know? It was my own soon to be stepfather. I don't know if it was but I did have a bet that they're probably get married soon.
"Well it was nice talking to you Matthew" Henry said before leaving Matthews office. "Aurora, can you get me the files for the project?" He asks "Didn't I get it to you today?" "Yea you did, and I used it and now please go get it back" he says with a smirk I just looked up at him and he winked at me, I just rolled my eyes.
As I was going to get the files Henry came beside me , but didn't say a word while he was getting himself a black coffee.

He then walked on like nothing and I went back to work.
Back home
I went home after work and just threw myself on the bed, and the fact it was only Monday made it even worse.
