Leo asks glancing down at my arms frowns slightly. "Is there any reason you always wear long sleeves?" "Yes" I say hoping he wouldn't ask why "can I ask why?" curses and fowl language I jinxed it I think to myself Leo sighs softly "Can I see your arms?" his eyes searching mine I stay silent but I don't stop him when he reaches pulling my left arm rolling up the sleeve I look away bracing myself to get yelled at or laughed at but neither of those came a bit confused I look at him as he stares at the pinkish pale scarred light patches from the burns "Nyx..." Leo trails off tracing the scarred skin on my forearm "...what happened" he asks gently as if speaking to a hurt wild animal "car accident when I was four..." "did you not go to the hospital it shouldn't have scarred that bad if you did?" "no because mother doesn't care about me..." I say trying to hide the slightest tremor in her voice "is that why you always keep to yourself?" Leo says softly I nod not trusting my voice He sighs softly, looking at her "Just know that I'm here for you, okay?" I meet Leo's gaze for the first time with my dark stormy grey eyes "You're a very interesting person Nyx" "I get that a lot..." I say "is that a good or a bad thing?" Leo asks "normally bad but when you say it it sounds not like a insult..." I say feeling a bit more at ease
