"NAILEA MONET JACKSON GET YO ASS UP!" i hear my best friend shout as she walks in my room.
"bitch its too early for yelling" i say pulling my covers above my head.
"nai it's 10 am we have to be at the school by 12!!" maya said pulling the covers off of me and pulling me out of bed. i freeze and think abt what she said.
"it's what?" i say still on the floor.
"BITCH it's 10 AM." she says bucking her head at me.
"oh fuck me" i say getting up. it's a good thing my hair was done and i was packed everything was in the car. all i had to do was change n brush my teeth so i did just that. i put on a two piece legging set and some yeezy slides cs ik we was gon be up and moving. and by 10:20 we were on the road. maya trailed behind me till we made it to the school.

we finally made it to the school. the parking lot was full asf we spent 10 minutes looking for a spot then met back up in the office where we got our keys.
"hopefully we got the same room, what does your key number say?"
"456 yours?" i asked as we walked to the elevator.
"457.." maya says confused.
"that can't be right they said they can pair us!" she said aggravated.
"they said if tho.." i said pressing 4 on the elevator buttons.
"it's not that bad tho, we right across from each other." i say hearing the ding from the elevator.
"i guess, lmk when you're settled in there's probably a party going on tn somewhere yk we gotta pop out." maya said walking to her door.
"yk it boo. bye ttyl" i said putting my key in.
"see u laterrr" maya says.
i open my door and my dorm is pretty big. there's a little kitchen and a nice bathroom but the beds are still in one room. (y'all i hope that makes sense😭) i sigh and put my bags down.

it's 12:30 and i was able to get all my stuff out the car and get my bed together and some of my clothes packed up. i walk in the kitchen to put my coffee maker on the counter and i hear the door open. i look up and i see the person i least expected. david fucking reyes.

(let me give y'all a little backstory😛)

when nai was 14 she started freshman year there was a group of boys who would always bully her calling her names and making fun of her including david. david or "dd" bullied her the worst. this was till senior year when nai was 17 she did online school because the principal told her it was best. although the group thought she still looked the same without them seeing her, nai went to the gym more and lost weight and built a FATTTT ass. (sorry yall) nai never saw dd after going online but the stuff he would say to her would still come back to her from time. she used his words as motivation.

"ik you're fucking lying." i said to myself.
"oh fuck no" david said.
"i should be saying the same shit." i said mugging him.
"how are u in this room bro?" he asked dropping all his shit in the kitchen.
"how are u in college?" i ask. no funny shit i rlly wanted to know.
he laughed and he moved his hair out his face.
"wow u finally learned how to clap back, i got my ways metal mouth." he said grabbing his stuff and pushing passed me. he used to call me metal mouth back when we went to school tg.
"still a dick huh" i turned around putting my arms on the island.
"still fat huh" he said putting his stuff in the room.
"nothings fat on me but this ass. u still putting yo dick in anything walking? or did u get tired of being a dead beat dad." i said.
"bitch sttm." he said waving me off and sitting on the couch.
"its okay david i'll stop tty once u get tf out" i say standing up.
"ian going nowhere u taking yo slut ass out." david says pointing to the door.
"u should be the last person calling someone a slut how many bodies u got?"
"6 and ? how many u got? 9?" he said turning to me. i paused. i never gave it up to anyone u can't trust these niggas nowadays.
"uh actually i got non-" i was cut off by knocking on the door. i walk to it and open it. it's a staff.

"hi is everything working out okay over here?" she asked.
"um actually no. my roommate is a boy can u change that?" i ask opening the door wider so she can see david on the couch.
"oh no darling all the boys and girls separate dorms are full we had to mix up some boys and girls but don't worry sweetheart you're not the only one. have a good day." she said waving. i slammed the door without saying anything and walked back to the kitchen. opening the fridge.
"just can't get away from yo ugly ass." david says turning on the tv.
"i'm just as tired as yo og looking at yo slut ass." i say walking into my or our room slamming the door.
