Business Owner's Secret | Prologue

Bryan's POV

I had work in an hour and of course, this was the time my hair dye decided to start fading.

As soon as I saw how spotty it was, I knew I had to put more coloring in, but the bottle was almost empty.

Inpu kept glancing in the bathroom, but I don't think he fully realized what I was doing since he hadn't said anything snarky yet.

"Hey, hon, can you pick me up more hair dye later today after you take the kids to the doctor"

"Yeah, let me guess, just ran out?"

"Yup, I didn't have enough to fully get the back, can you check to make sure none of my natural white is showing?"

"Alright, let me look"

He walked over to where I was and began to check the back of my hair, just looking for any spots I couldn't fully cover.

"You have a tiny bit of color showing, but you can't see it from a distance, I messed it up a bit so it shouldn't be an issue"

"Anything else you want me to know, or is now your time to be snarky about the fact I still wear hair dye to work?"

"I don't plan on being snarky to you today since you need to take Crystal and Gregory with you today"

"What do you mean? Doesn't she have a doctor's appointment today?"

"Nope, the text only says Atlas, Femi, Lotus, and Artemis, she had hers last week, in case you've forgotten, its the reason we had pizza for dinner last Tuesday"

"You're right, guess I need to deal with that today"

"What's our excuse with the kids?"

"You're usually the one to explain it, you tell me"

"Simple, if someone asks me how I have biological kids with you, I just say that you're trans and we had kids since we weren't able to adopt"

"And why am I the one you claim is trans?"

"Do you really see me being feminine for even a minute?"

"Touché, I need to feed the two of us and leave then"

"Alright, if you need me to drop you off lunch, I should be in the area later to do so"

"Sounds like a plan, I'm going to finish getting ready then go"

I quickly finished getting ready and left soon after.

Usually I leave a bit earlier so I can pick up Gregory to save Cal the stress of his child going missing, but of course, today was the day he walked to the pizzaplex and let himself in.

He was only waiting at the door since I still had to unlock it, but he was at least inside so I couldn't complain much.

"Couldn't just wait outside the apartment building again?" [Bryan]

"Cal left for work early and Xylo had something to do, so he dropped me off here and told me to wait for you and not to tell Cal" [Gregory]

"That sounds like uncle Xylo" [Crystal]

"Why is she here, I thought you didn't normally bring my cousins" [Gregory]

"I don't, but Inpu gave me no other choice today" [Bryan]

"Do you have any way to hide it from the animatronics?" [Gregory]

"Yup, Inpu apparently has had to tell a few people an excuse before when he isn't doing god stuff" [Bryan]

"Dad lies to people a lot" [Crystal]

"Does your other father lie to me often?" [Bryan]

"Only when he gets us ice cream in the middle of the day before dinner" [Crystal]
