⎯⎯ ୨ THIRD PERSON'S ୧ ⎯⎯
The relentless cycle of debut preparations blurred the lines between days and nights. Rehearsals bled into vocal lessons, the debut trailer's looming November 11th release and the song's drop ten days later fueling their tireless efforts. Dawn found them stretching in the practice room, the same track echoing for hours as they chased synchronized perfection. Sweat soaked their clothes, muscles screamed in protest, yet the collective dream kept them pushing, fueled by a shared hunger. They were a unit, their exhaustion a tangible bond, each member mirroring the others' unwavering dedication. Late nights saw their movements falter, voices strain, but the unspoken mantra, failure is not an option, propelled them forward. This debut was their singular chance.
Amidst the demanding schedule, their connection deepened. They were more than bandmates; they were family. A shared laugh during a water break, a comforting pat on the back after a grueling session, the silent understanding in tired eyes - these small moments were their sustenance.
Enhypen's visits punctuated the intensity. Kiera's easy camaraderie with Clementine was a familiar comfort. Jay's insistence on Clementine taking breaks, Jake and Sunghoon's subtle offerings of extra snacks - these small gestures spoke volumes of their bond. The &TEAM members observed with growing understanding.
One particularly draining afternoon, Clementine slipped out for a quick break, leaving Sunghoon, Jake, and Jay with the rest of &TEAM. EJ, his curiosity piqued by their consistent attentiveness towards her, leaned in. "Why do you all look after her so much?" he asked softly, genuine curiosity coloring his tone.
A shared glance passed between the Enhypen members. Sunghoon spoke first, a soft fondness in his voice. "She's like a mother to us, you know," he admitted. "Sounds cheesy, maybe, but she just... does. Always checking in, knowing when something's off before we even say it."
Jake nodded, his expression earnest. "She's the balance in all this crazy. When it gets too much, she's the one who reminds us to breathe, to not lose ourselves."
