I sigh as I scan the grocery store for all the things on my list, as I mentally run the list through my head I feel my cart abruptly stop, as I look up from my phone I see a white man around 5'5-5'6 staring at me with a look of disgust.

Before I am able to process what just happen I hear a scruffy raspy voice say "watch where your going next time bitch, this is why I hate these black folks never knowing their place" he mumbled the last part, "excuse me" I asked thrown aback by what he said " you heard me" he said as he moves closer to intimidate me, little does he know I don't give a fuck

I see his eyes widen as he steps back, almost looking terrified of what he just seen, as I stand there confused about his changed demeanor a loud deep voice boomed through my ears "I don't never wanna see you disrespect a women like that especially a black women like that ever again in your life especially this one right here if I found out that you did some shit like that again imma handle you, do you understand?" He said as he stared daggers into the man

The man stumbled back and replied yes before scurrying out the store, I turn around to see who my "savior" was and I see none other than the devil himself Seh'kani Johnson "thanks" I say walking away very fast in an attempt to get out this store as fast as I can, I make it to the register to pay, I notice him following behind me

as they ring me "82.99" the cashier says, as I'm pulling out my card I hear a ding sound saying that his card has been accepted. I grab my stuff without a word and scurry off to my car in an attempt to get away from him, as I'm walking I hear him say "Moni wait a second"he says rushing behind me, I made it to my car and he started putting the stuff in as I sat in the font seat, as I am about to pull off I hear a knock on my car window

As I roll it down looking unamused he says "fr mona'e? You gone act like you don't know me" avoiding his question I boldly said "you didn't have to pa-" " yk I told you when you with me you never have to pay for anything, I see your new nigga don't do the same" he states as he judgmentally looks me up and down analyzing my credit card that I was putting away

"Anyways have a nice day mamas ill see you around" he nods his head and pats the car as he walks away, unknowingly I let out a deep breath that I didn't know I was holding in, snapping me out of my thoughts about him, my car announces "call from Khalil red heart emoji" I answer and hear him say "where tf you at?" I roll my eyes "Khalil I'm otw home it takes time in the grocery store" I say with my words laced with irritation, " you better have only went to the grocery store bitch" before I can say anything back I hear "beep beep beep" showing that he had hung up on me, I roll my eyes as I make my way home
