It was 1 a.m. I was just getting off of my part-time job and I was exhausted after working a full shift since Madylyn was out sick. My eyes were getting heavy even though I knew once I got home it was time to do my homework. I felt myself slipping away, dozing off to rest my eyes when I woke up, almost swerving off the road. I knew I was tired but I had to make it home. 5 more miles and I could get in my warm and comfy bed.
My bed... all nice and cozy. I felt my self drift off and the next thing I knew there was a crash. My whole body started to hurt, the pain searing through my body. A man came over asking me something. My vision was blurring and the last thing I heard was the man say, "Her car crashed. She is laying in a pool of her own blood and I think she is...Dead." That's when everything went black.
