Jay's POV
I sat down at lunch like usual then I saw her. It was Amy! A smile spread across her face when he looked at her. I had a sudden urge to give her a large hug but I hesitated. 'Flirting,' I thought,' That always seems to work.' Casually I stuck out my leg as if to trip her. She laughed slightly as she gracefully stepped over my leg. "You boys are nothing but trouble," I heard Mags say. She was staring at her food which was only slightly abnormal. Suddenly all the girls seemed to be concerned. Theo and Graham started teasing her so I thought I'd try it. Boy was that a mistake! All I said was ," Why don't we check the baby's temperature?" I started laughing then Amy said something that I was unable to hear. Then BAM! Sam grabbed me firmly by the ear and started dragging me down the hallway. I started to protest but I saw Amy there dragging two boys herself. I knew I could easily beat Sam up but she was Amy's best friend. Who would want to fight their girlfriends best friend. As Sam let go my ear began to throb. I twirled around as I heard slight laughing. It was Amy! She was staring right at me and Graham. I looked over to him to see him rubbing his ear too. I quickly yanked my hand down, blushing. Then I looked at Ames, she was so cute when she was mad. I had an urge to kiss her but I knew it was to early. They had only been dating for a month. Then I heard her say," Now Jay, just because I'm dating you doesn't mean I won't go hard on you." That stung! We said we where sorry and then went back down the hallway. Me and Amy went a little slower than the others. I slowly reached for her hand. She looked down as I brushed the side of her hand. I quickly drew my hand away then she smiled. I reached again and this time she grabbed it. She blushed and then smiled then we walked down the hallway hand and hand.
