Amanda's P.O.V
Today I walked in the classroom and ran to a different seat but before I could get there mason called out "Amanda" and pointed to the empty seat beside him. I slowly trudged over to my seat and sat down. yesterday I realized that we have the same schedule except for our 3rd period classes. "why didn't you talk to me for the rest of the day yesterday. i thought we liked each other." wait, wait, wait, slow down, mason likes me. I wanted to scream for joy! "I thought I embarrassed myself and you thought I was a weirdo." " I was just going to ask if you wanted to go out sometime?" He said in a hopeful voice. "I really like you and I know we just met but I think you like me to, so...." I just sat there with a blank look on my face and watched the clock for about 30 seconds. "um.. shore, where are we going." "how about to the movies, I've been dying to see Jurassic world but I can't find any one to take it to. you seem like the perfect person to take and then we can get some dinner afterwards" that sounded fine to me, I'm a nerd when it comes to Jurassic park, karate kid, Star Wars, ect. for the rest of the day we talked, just talked. I found out that he was the captain of the football, basketball and baseball teams. that's awesome because I really want to be a cheerleader and if he becomes my boyfriend I'll be cheering for him.
When I got home I took some money out of my moms purse and then went to the mall to get some new makeup, fingernail polish, a new dress, and some new shoes. I'm really excited, if all goes well maybe I'll have my first kiss.
Oh did I forget to mention he's 16 and already has a car, score!!! Mason picked me up around 7:30 and we went strait to the movie.............. the movie was great but not talking to someone on your first date isn't. I wanted to make sure he was the right guy for me and sitting through a 2 and a half hour picture on a screen doesn't help me get to know him. after the movie we went to panera bread and talked about our families and our lives up to now, it was amazing and I hope he feels the same way. after panera we went to his house and watched the stars. in that moment.... I knew it was the right time so i leaned in and kissed him. it wasn't just a peck, it was a real kiss and it was awesome.
It got kinda cold but neither one of us wanted to go in so we just laid there, snuggled together. eventually we both fell asleep, thank goodness tomorrow is Saturday. I woke up next to mason still asleep. I kissed him once and immediately he woke up with the biggest smile on his face and kissed me back. yep, we were meant to be.
