A Promise

I woke up at midnight after dreaming about what happened to my mother. I wandered off too the springs to get my mind off of things. Diablo had followed me, he trots to catch up with me. He then sits down next to me and starts to question.

"Twilight, did you have a bad dream?"

"No, just cant sleep, you should head back Diablo, before you get in trouble..."

"I would but, I can't sleep either Twilight..."

Diablo always tried to act cute to get his way, but becuase I wasn't in the mood I let him stay with me.

"So, when are you goin back to sleep?", he asked while yawning.

"In a little while, just wait up for me..."

I nuzzdled him so he would cheer up a bit.

Im a year and a half now, I still havent known what to do, everything has changed and is more boring without my mother...
I went to speak to Maiku, but he wasnt where he normally is...
I troted over to Raider's den, (The Alpha) to ask where Maiku was but, He had said he was on his hunting tutorial.

"So much for wanting to do something today he's gonna be gone all day...", I thought to myself.

I walked to the springs that night, the water had the moon's reflection on it. I look at my reflection, I stared at it for awhile then I looked away in shame.
