A/N
Hey Guys! No, I am not dead and Yes I know I've been gone for absolutely ages but I hope you understand. I had of a mental block and then family problems came up so I've not really been in a good mood for writing but I thought I might as well write for the people who are waiting on a story so yeah, here's the next chapter! Enjoy!
---------IT's MAGIC--------Normal P.O.V.
Sirens were heard in the far distance as the guilty girls were tending to the heavily injured girl by the name of Mira Mikaelis. Thoughts were racing trough their heads like
'What have we done?
Should we have done that?
OMG! She's gonna die because of us!
To think we did this because we were in love!
Im so sorry Mira...'
Finally paramedics came in their full green uniform and hospital gear, snapping the girls from their guilty thoughts. One of the older senpais (an older student basically)
Offered to ride on the ambulance with Mira to which everyone agreed with. After all, she was the only one with a reasonable head- she had tried to reason them out of attacking her cause they could seriously hurt her but no one paid attention. Some of the other girls rung people who had connections to Mira's best friends (none of them had their numbers but some of their friends did) and the others got everyone else home except for a select few who decided to go to the hospital to apologise to the poor girl.
All of them felt guilty and were blaming no one but themselves for this vicious ambush. Suddenly, one of the girls remembered something and told the girls of their predicament
"What do we do to Lily?"
.
.
.
Silence.
They really didn't know what to do. No one was strong enough to carry her and no one had enough energy to use a spell either. The only solution- leave her there.
She was the most evil one of them all and really, to be honest deserved why she got so it wasn't really hard to just get up and leave her be in her ice cage.
One by one, people were collected to be dropped off at places and go home, ready to apologise to Mira when she woke up- hopefully- the next day.--------IT'S MAGIC---------------
Seniors P.O.V
The big yellow van's siren whirred as they sped through town. Mira looked really pale and had an oxygen mask on.
Why had we done it? I told them not to and they roped me in anyway. She doesn't deserve this...
The paramedics had remained silent throughout the ordeal when someone broke the stiff silence in the whole van.
"What had happened before we got there? It looked like you had a battle of some sort!" The other paramedics nodded their agreement and wanted to know what exactly had happened to the girl.
I looked away guiltily and whispered just loud enough for them to hear.
"We attacked her. She fought back. End of story." I really didn't know what happened either. What shocked me the most was that bright light and how Mira cast a spell.
Wait a second.
MIRA CAST A SPELL! WITHOUT HER MEDIUM!
How did she do it?
I hadn't had time to think about it when we parked in the ambulance space and we all stepped out. Nurses and doctors rushed out, having heard Mira's condition and rushed her into surgery. I sat patiently in the waiting area outside the operation room, waiting nervously for some good news that will surely come- right? After minutes of her in surgery, Mira's best friends Nikki, Sora and even Sam came by, all running impatiently down the hallway. It seems like they've been told of the situation by one of the girls because they seem fuming. Sora glared at me, so I cowered back into my chair. Samuel sat besides me, crossing his arms and biting his lip. If it was in any other situation, I would've taken his opportunity to flirt with him, but it wasn't appropriate on this scenario.
A person you beat up is in a surgery room getting treated to and is in danger of death and your crush is one of her best friends.
Yep! Definitely a bad idea to flirt.
Anyway, after an hour or 2, the doctors finally come out, seeming in a better mood than earlier. The nurse smiled at me as she wheeled her assigned patient down the corridor, with a group of young misfits trailing behind her. I peeked at Mira and she looked better than she was in the ambulance.
She was less pale, had more colour on her skin, seem to be dreaming a happy dream judging from her face. At least she was happy.
She was wheeled into a big white hospital room and the nurse told us to be quiet, be respectful of the other patients etc. we already knew this anyways so it didn't really matter whether I listened or not.
Back to topic, when the nurse went out of the room, we all let out a sigh of relief we didn't know we held.
