Christmas. A time for celebration and joy, one more of solitude and peacefulness for her. Yunjin never enjoyed the tradition. Really, it was just like any other day. Call it trauma, call it disinterest. Whatever the reason was, she rarely brought it up. Or any holiday truly. Most people paid it no mind. But her family did.

Being the youngest member of the bat family, Bruce, saw Yunjin as his child and, the rest, their beloved little sister. And as that role, they cared for her deeply. Regardless of her groans and multiple embarrassing moments, they (mostly dick) never backed down from showing her the love she deserved to have.

"Yunjin?" A voice enquiries. Gently ringing through the air as soft but assertive footsteps grew closer. Bruce knew she would be here. They all did. He saw her here each and every year for that fact. Bruce never understood why she chose *this* spot, but regardless, he and the family wanted to join her.

And as the snow gently fell, stars shone brightly in the sky. Their glow washing over the world like a blanket. Bruce quietly sat next to her, her head tilted upwards towards the sky, and the others stood behind. "Why.... Do you come here? Every year." he whispered softly. Not expecting an answer. Yunjin was a quiet one. Never really spoke, and didn't really show any invitation to talk. However, they still cared about her deeply.

Yunjin didn't speak. As expected. Her eyes hovering over the damp plot of land where she sat. Snow sneakily making its way on the ground covering it in it's thick and dense atoms of winter. The flowers that had been placed neatly on the ground that yunjin worshiped this time of year already wiltering in the minus temperature that they were put in.

Silence surrounded her. Only looking down in a noiseless and stillness motion, just looking at the damp patch of land. Her hands shaking and body tense as she listened to Bruce's voice, but still... calm. A cold breath of air being let free in the winter morning. Yunjin built up the courage to get up. Her bones aching from training and her muscles wobbly. She walked past bruce and the others. Still not saying a word.

Bruce looked to her with a soft smile, he knew this would be the answer he'd receive. Yunjin never wanted to share her secrets, but she did allow him and the others to stay in her presence. A silent agreement of sorts. Bruce could only hope he had given the same comfort that yunjin and the rest of his children gave him during the missions.

Bruce and the rest stayed quiet and simply watched as she walked away. Damian pulling on his fathers jumper, an indication to follow his younger sister but Bruce knew the distance between his youngest daughter wasn't so far that he wouldn't be able to catch up.

So, quietly, he got up, and quietly he walked.

Dick following.

Then Jason.

Then Tim, cass, steph, Duke and then damian.

You would never walk alone in the family. It was the rule of thumb. You couldn't be left alone. It was a promise from Yunjin's adoptive family. That they would always care for her. Even if she huffed and puffed while they did so.

Yunjin's frame stilled. Her body stopping before turning around to face her family. Their figures stopping like a deer caught in headlights. They're shocked faces only relaxing when Yunjin had tilted her head, a silent invitation to walk beside her.
