As I walked into the front of my salon I couldn't believe what I was seeing. There was no actual way in hell Berlin was here, AND IN FRONT OF MY FACE RIGHT NOW. The whole world had frozen around me as I stood there in utter shock, all I could hear were the thoughts in my head although they were pretty cloudy.

"Y/n is that you?"
"Y/n??"
"Is she okay?" 
Asked Berlin with such a warm and gentle smile spread across his face. Everything sounded muffled to me and It was like I couldn't speak, I just stood there with my mouth open in pure shock. Until I felt someone pinch me in the arm.

"Ow!" I whispered snapping out of the trance I was in.
"Y/n I know you hear this man talking to you."
Bsf/n loudly whispered to me as Berlin laughed not breaking eye contact with me.

Berlin continued to stand there not taking his eyes off of me, it's like he still knew how nervous he made me and he was almost doing this on purpose.

"H-hi Berlin! It's nice to see you!"
I managed to finally get the words out with a nervous smile, although you could hear the shakiness in my voice.
"Girl you don't act all nervous around me, come here."
Berlin playfully said as he pulled me into a warm comforting hug, something about his hug calmed me down in a way. Maybe it was his scent, or maybe it was the way his hands traveled down to my waist while he nuzzled his face into my neck... I magically got this weird boost of confidence and wrapped my arms around his neck as I watched everyone in the shop's facial expressions.

"Ou yall look at them" Paradice mumbled with a smile on her face as everyone watched.

"Damn y/n, you smell good as always." Berlin expressed breaking the hug with a smile.

"And you're still as handsome as I remember."
I stated with a slight smile as I kept my focus on him, the room went silent while we both exchanged smiles and stares at each other.

"oh my..." ~ Donavon mumbled jokingly side-eyeing the both of us

"ou I know y'all seeing this too." ~ paradice mumbled looking over her magazine and smiling at me and Berlin as she pointed.

"Oh, I see it alright."~ bsf/n mumbled with a slight giggle.

"you got any openings for me today gorgeous?" Berlin asked with that stupid smug look on his face.

"mhm~ I think I can make some room for you somewhere love." I flirtatiously responded walking over to the computer system where we booked appointments. he replied with a slight chuckle.

"my 2:00 appointment was canceled on me today and I have another opening at 3:00, which time works best for you B?" I asked in a warm and gentle tone looking up at him from the computer.

"I'll take that 2:00 appointment please and thank you," he answered with the same warm and gentle tone.

"Okay, you'll get an automated text message 30 minutes before your appointment."

"aren't you supposed to ask me for my number or something?" he asked with curiosity written all over his face.

"Well, you obviously never changed it because I got that "Happy Thanksgiving" text from you." I playfully replied with a sly smirk.

"so you did see it?"
