Hi!! So, as some may know, and others may not, this is the rewritten version of my first fic called 'speak now'. I chose to end it because it was poorly written and frustrating for me to work through that, so I'm starting all over again!
I want you guys to have the best version I can provide, so this is how I'm doing it. I can assure that this fic will be longer, more detailed, and simply better. I made a lot of mistakes with speak now that I refuse to make with begin again, so it will be good.
For those who know this originally as 'speak now', the gist will be the same. Same slowburn of friends to lovers, the same Jack and Bailey we know and love. I will be adding and removing things from the original, but most of the significant plot points will be the same.
I'm writing and planning out my Trevor Zegras fic called 'vampire' while writing this, so once I get them both rolling, I'll be back and forth between updating them. Updates are a thing I'm definitely not consistent with, but they'll come, so all I ask is for your patience. :)
This fic will include triggering topics that can and will vary, but I will be providing warnings at the top of the chapters whenever anything is included in the chapter.
Sexual content and smut will also be included, and I will be providing warnings at the top for those as well.
Please keep in mind this has no connection to the real people being written about and is entirely fictional!
A short introduction: This takes place in the fall of the 2022-23 season, and the main character is Bailey, a senior at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and majors in business management and minors in painting and drawing in the artistic field. She lives off-campus with her childhood best friend, Amelia, while working a part-time job at a local café. And I'd love to give you all more, but it's something I'd rather wiggle into the story than just tell y'all right off the bat ;)
