~ Family Comes First

Jaida's POV 

I had been let out of the hospital about 2 weeks ago....and I finally found out what was wrong with me. I had lung cancer. He didn't tell me what stage....and I was scared. He said I only had 2 months until the cancer kills me. They said they couldn't help me....it was already in my body, it decided to become active after I passed out.

August and Jasmine have been supporting me through everything. I love both of them equally for that. After all I've been through, there the only people that have helped me through everything....and I truly love them for that. Today there was a carnival that was going on and me, Jasmine, and August were gonna go. Now, I was waiting on them. 

"Jasmine ! August !" I screamed.

"Yea ?" They both said in unison. 

I walked down the stairs and then motioned my head telling them to come on. We walked to the car, and I got into the driver's seat. I pulled off and headed for the carnival. It's hard to drive or walk when you have to carry a huge machine to keep you breathing since I can't on my own anymore.

I got out the car and August helped me with my machine, I pecked his lips and then locked hands with him and walked into the carnival. I couldn't get on any rides so I decided to just sit , and relax until Jasmine and August were ready to leave. 

Jasmine's POV

I was walking around the carnival looking for a funnel cake stand, when a boy approached me.

"Listen ma, I saw you and I had to talk to ya. Your beautiful." He said to me showing off a sexy ass smile.

I blushed at his comment.

"Awe. You look cute when you blush." He said to me while touching my cheeks. 

"Thanks. I'm Jasmine if you wanted to know." I said while smiling.

"Oh, I'm Trevor by the way." Then a idea popped into my head.

"Jackson?" I asked.

"The one and only." He said with a smile.

I gasped and couldn't even control myself. I was only 13, but Trevor was only 14 at the time.

"Jasmine ?" He asked waving his hand in front of my face.

I snapped back into reality and then smiled.

"C-Can I have your number ?" I asked.

"Definitely." He said.

We exchanged numbers and then I went to the funnel cake stand. I was so hype. I was definitely gonna call him when I get home.

August POV

I was walking with Jasmine on our way back to Kyra. When we spotted her, I snuck behind her and kissed her neck all slow and shit.

"August were in public." She said in a laugh.

I hugged her tightly.

"I'm gonna miss you." I said on the verge of tears streaming down my face. 

She hugged me tightly and then cried silent tears on my chest.

We got into the car and then pulled off. When we got back home it was about 3:45 so we just decided we were gonna chill in the house for the rest of the day, since we didn't have nothing to do.  I was gonna help her do somethings that she can't do on her own. I'm gonna miss her.
