Honestly I don't really like girl friends but the few that I have are short. They always give me hugs and I don't give them back. If I give you a hug I give it from behind because I dont want your face against my Boobs.
Its always the hug that makes them press against your chest or the hug that I usually give to the dearest friend I have which if 5'3. The choke hug- I already look scary and mean and now that I'm trying to be nice and hug them they feel like I'm gonna strangle them. Well thats what happens to me.
So Im not really the kind of gal that likes having a lot of friends but most of them are guys. Yes they are shorter than me. But since Im a big girl they are scared of me(not even mentioning that I beat up a kid in front of the teacher).
When the guys and me wanna play basketball or a sport (and i don't just play basketball because I'm tall)I want a challenge so i could play better. They are either to scared or stuck up but mostly they are scared. But standing 6ft and counting in 8th grade no one is gonna try to take the ball from me unless I give it to them. But then...
Finally after years of waiting comes a guy that is taller than you, isn't scared to give a challenge to you, you can give a decent hug to and most important...you don't have to look down on him.
But thats a different chapter.
