In the forest near the border of Sanctum, a fight between two armies was waging. The defending army, the Runeguard were protecting against the Dark Legion and both sides fought fiercely. Sanctum's soldiers were facing men and women in black colored armor clashing weapons with each other. Horsemen came charging in running around the field of battle, targeting anyone they came across with whatever weapon they had striking them down. Archers fired arrows from a distance which hit or missed the enemy, among the fighters was the King of Sanctum: Magnus.

He was leading his army in defending the Kingdom. With his sword in hand, he faced a few soldiers from the Dark Legion.
King Magnus: For Sanctum!
He said as he raised his sword in the air after defeating the soldiers he fought. Meanwhile, among the Runeguard were two sisters facing Dark Legion separately and both fought skillfully. Then a soldier with a mace came from behind and attacked the green-eyed sister, but she was able to see it coming and quickly dodged it then used her sword to strike him down. However, the last one she was fighting before slammed into her knocking her down against the ground and the helmet she wore rolled away. Her sister with blue eyes came to her rescue using a spear from one of the fallen piercing through an opening of the armor. Once the Dark Legion goon went down, she went to check on her sister.
Mila: I got you Mischa! (She exclaimed offering her hand.)
Mischa: (Takes it as Mila helps her up.) Thanks Mila. Another close call.
A few howls suddenly rose in the forest.
Mischa and Mila: Werewolves!
From the other side of the forest, the very creatures that the girls spoke of came charging at the Runeguard Army to help their comrades in battle. They maul every soldier in sight or bite them, scratch them, they fought as a pack doing what they did out of instinct. While prepared to fight them, King Magnus and his army were also dealing with the regular soldiers of the Legion who helped the werewolves in defeating the enemy by using whatever tactics they could to disarm them, and then the beasts did what they desired to do. However, Sanctum's defenders put up a fight taking out a few werewolves, Mila and Mischa fought more soldiers together and with ease too. They fought from one side of the battle while the King and the others on the other when a dark presence was sensed. From the distance a bit, reinforcements arrived and among them was the leader of the Dark Legion: The Great Sorceress Tavora.
While her General led everyone else in dealing with the rest, Tavora wasted no time in using her magic to destroy the remainder of the Runeguard, burning them with flames. King Magnus saw everything happening and joined the fight taking down a few more soldiers when a new creature charged into him, knocking him into a tree trunk. It was a minotaur and left the downed King to help his allies in crushing the last of his army. However, the King was not out, with the battle lost he frantically crawled to his crown which fell nearby the tree he crashed into. Upon reaching it, he picked it up and knew what to do next.
