(Yes, I know there's spelling errors in Poob dialogue, it's intentional. I also apologize if Pest's dialogue translates wrong, I had used Google translate for one of them.)
The icing stuck to the freshly baked cake, its aroma spreading throughout the quaint home like a flood. They held the piping bag tightly in their hand, writing in cursive font; Happy Birthday.
Bright balloons, and perfectly placed party streamers, would be accompanied by joyous music that engulfed the home in a party-like infestation. Though this was the third or fourth party they had hosted this week alone, Poob couldn't help but feel a mix of exhaustion and excitement stirring inside them.
Excited for Split's party yet exhausted from lack of rest time, their wallet wasn't having the best time either. Spending an arm and a leg for supplies and ingredients to make baked goods from scratch, since boxed mix was deemed lazy to the partygoer's standards.
Poob slid the cake onto a serving tray, carrying it steadily over to the hors d'oeuvres and punch bowl.
"Phew..almost done." The partygoer clasped their hands together, bringing them up to their cheek while they gazed endlessly at the widespread of finger foods they had made. "I bet Split will liek this!!" They exclaimed, practically beaming joy where they stood. Poob couldn't wait to see the look on her face once she saw their hard work, they hoped for excitement and awe from her. However, Poob was conflicted on whether to leave the bananas on or off the food table, Split loved all things that sported the fruits' theme but with her being part banana herself, Poob thought she wouldn't want to consume them. For obvious reasons.
'Ten minutes til', their eyes traveled up to the clicking clock upon their bright wall; resting themselves on the sofa as they waited. The partygoer's head lies on the armrest, the rest of their body sprawled out in what they deem comfortable. Which looked uncomfortable.
'Ugh.. since when was the couch better than a bed?' Poob thought, eyes growing heavier than sandbags. A quick nap wouldn't hurt, would it? After all, they couldn't really help it.
Cooking, cleaning, and prepping all day really takes a toll on your energy. Unluckily, this took most (if not all) of the partygoer's usual upbeat mood. Snoring softly, they drifted off into sleep; out faster than you could flip a switch.

Two knocks erupted from the front door, awaking the robloxian with a jolt. Once a realization hit the half-asleep partygoer, they began to shake the sleep out of themselves; they had slept in, by a shot of two minutes. "Sry! Sry! Coming!!" Poob exclaimed, skipping to the door quickly. Luckily, the group seemed to have just arrived, Poob mentally sighed in relief. They'd hate to keep anyone waiting. Behind the door stood Split; other companions of hers joining her. "Happi Birthday, come in! Come in!!" They spoke in their usual tone, stepping aside for the group to flood through the door. Split smiled in reply, entering the home in awe. The guests followed shortly behind; them being Wallter, Mark, Pilby, and lastly..Pest.
It had taken an entire week of begging the bug to arrive, Poob eventually bribing him to come for apple pie. Thoughtfully, Pest accepted the invite. Though, judging by his past actions, the bug had also arrived for.. another reason; pickpocketing. Nonetheless, Poob was ecstatic to see him show his face (since they barely hung out). "You really didn't have to do all of this, y'know. I know how planning can be hard." Split gazed over to Poob, smiling gently. "これは必要なかった。" Pest muttered, slipping past the two. The partygoer chuckled unknowingly, he didn't have a clue what they were just told. Japanese wasn't exactly their fortè. "It's fien, it's nothing all too hard!" Poob reassured, patting the birthday woman on the shoulder. She nodded, putting trust in her best friend's words.
