𝐀𝐓𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐀, 𝐆𝐄𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐈𝐀KEMANI SHIVERED AS he walked along the sidewalk. It was below freezing in Atlanta, but Kemani had just got off.
There were very few cars that passed by him on the road. Kemani would never get used to Atlanta's weather, but this was an every other day thing.
Kemani didn't have a car yet and he didn't necessarily have enough money to be spending on an Lyft 24/7.
He didn't have many friends, even if he did, he wouldn't force them to pick him up at this hour.
The sun was slowly, but surely rising, that was Kemani's favorite thing about walking home from work at this time.
His phone had died about 5 minutes ago, so he was very much trying to pick up his speed.
Taking a sharp turn, he could finally see his apartment complex, it wasn't a far walk from his job.
A few months back, Kemani had finally saved up enough money to get his apartment, but then he unfortunately got fired from his job.
He didn't get payed much, but he definitely made more than he does now. His feet were fairly sore as he approached his apartment complex.
It was a gated community, he didn't know how he managed to move here, but before he got fired he paid off a few months of rent.
He didn't want to be behind, that definitely would've been the worst. Walking on the sidewalk that the apartment complex had, he unlocked the side gate with his key.
Mumbling to his self, he walked around to his building, which was the one in the front, before going up the first flight of stairs.
As he made his way down the small hallway, he saw movers moving boxes inside the apartment in front of his.
He didn't see any moving trucks outside in the front, so they probably came around the back.
Not wanting to be nosy or talked to, he quickly unlocked his apartment door walking in.
