Short story for now - just to get ideas out
Taehyung has been in the k-pop industry. Most of Korea are fans but there are crazy fans which makes it hard for him to have some privacy or space. His manger wants him to have his own bodyguard. However...
" Taehyung, please proceed on your presentation to the team" While the cameraman concentrates on the camera angel, Taehyung holds the focus.
" I wanted to create a short album to my fan and impress them a little since I have been doing a lot of photoshoots and been traveling around for brands " Taehyung said with a smile. "As well it's been almost two years since A.R.M.Y got to see me . Im sure a lot of A.R.M.Ys missed that. The album will be called 'Layover', this is my turning point. From starting point to turning point then I reach the arrival point at the end. I think I should show them everything I got like all my colors. I thought it'll be the right choice to start this 'Layover' with what I like ... That is my idea" Taehyung finishes off. Hoping that it will be accepted. Know how hard they work and many events will go on this year even when the beginning of the year was rough.
" I know you guys work hard for me, I would appreciate it if we could make some space please " give a bow to the team.
He has been wanting to do this album for a while now but every time it keeps on pushing back due to many complications on injuries and big events. Due to these events, Taehyung has a hard time having space or even privacy.
In the beginning of the year, Taehyung had a trip to go to Paris for CELINE. At first, he was going to do public airlines but many fans stayed overnight to see him. The place was almost fully pack which made it hard for visitors who were going to in and out of Korea which made it difficult for them to get their luggages and go to their assign gates.
This made a big issue with the airlines. Taehyung felt embarrassed with the fact that he didn't have a say on what to do. Luckily Jin, his manager handle it well. However, this also meant he was going to go private. Which isn't a bad thing. But Tae has been feeling very tired of not being normal. The way he grew to fame to quickly was incredible to artist and people. He was very talented. Yet this meant some people got jealous or wanted it for themselves. Being a little boy living in a farm to a celebrity. Not living a normal like scared him. Of course it's expected, just wants to be normal too.
" Well, why would it be called 'Layover'? Any reason behind it?" This shocked Taehyung. Although he really wanted to push over just for a short album. He would understand the decision of the team. It a lot of work on them but also for him. It will include more work and less time being free.
" There's no straight line to my life's final destination. So this 'Layover' implies that I, who'd been just running non-stop look back and think about what I am good at, what I like and reach that destination at slower or steady pace. " Taehyung smile appeared. He actually not greedy for a lot of things. However, he tried this album with a bit of greedily.
" Thank you Taehyung" Jin said with a smile. Later to face forward to the team/staff. The team stood up and clapped for this new change. " We will have discussion on the album next week, hopefully we can finish it off in two months. Thank you!" Jin finishes.
" Taehyung can you please follow me to my office" Jin said staring at Taehyung. His face didn't look upset or angry. More like calm and straight forward with no emotion. Taehyung prayed that it wasn't about the album. Taehyung was willing to go all against if Jin protested on releasing the album.
As the the door was closed behind him. Jin's arm point at the chair in front of his desk. Taehyung sat in place. Which Jin sat cross from him. Making the room quiet. One side were most filled with books. Albums of Taehyung and other business books. across from that was a huge window.
"Taehyung, I understand you want to do this for your fans, Still this will put you in a difficult situation where it will create you more of a target for sasaeng. " Taehyung didn't say anything yet. " So I know we have talked about this before and your wishes were no. Unfortunately, because we are at a tight schedule again. I will need you to have a bodyguard, if you really want to add more events to your schedule." Jin finally said everything.
" I know you aren't such a fan of it due to wanting to be normal. However I don't want to risk your safety either!" Jin looked away "you're like my little brother now but I will do it if you want to continue"
" WHAT!!" This is the least thing that Taehyung wanted. He didnt want to feel like a baby or as if he wasn't capable to take care of himself. He is a grown man for sakes!
" No Jin that's crazy! I already have a lot of security at my house. I don't need this!" his tone of voice rises.
"you will just have it until the sasaeng calm down or when you take a bit of a break!" Jin lashed out.
Taehyung didn't look at Jin anymore
" So.. what will it be Taehyung?" His eyes look down " I won't take a no for an answer again" as Jin lifts his chin up. which now look at Taeyhung
" What if I just " Taehyung stuttered. He doesn't know how to react. This was the last thing he wanted and now he can't think of anything.
"IF I will get one, I promise I'll make them quit " Taehyung faced back at jin.
"Well, good luck with that. " Jin sat back down to face back to his computer.
Taehyung scoffed as he walked out.
